Fun, durable, and worth it!
My 4-year-old daughter asked for a scooter for Christmas from Santa, so I immediately went to Amazon to browse their selection. This scooter is perfect!- It's so stable, that it stands upright by itself, which makes it easy for her just learning how to ride a scooter.- It's very durable. Being 4, you know how kids are going from one thing to the next. The scooter is dropped to the ground without hesitation, but isn't impacted at all. I was worried about it being plastic vs. metal, but this isn't an issue. It's lighter and easier to move than a metal Razor. The wide foot base is nice as she learns how to balance. My 2 1/2-year-old also tries to ride this scooter and does pretty well.

Perfect scooter for younger kids
My daughter really wanted a scooter for her 5th birthday. I did a lot of research to find the perfect one, and the radio flyer ez-rider scooter kept popping up. Well, it has exceeded my expectations. It is very sturdy and made well. I love the larger wheels - perfect for a first-time scooter rider. My daughter absolutely loves it and was zipping around on it within minutes of getting on. The back brake is also very easy for her to use. Many of her friends prefer riding her scooter rather than theirs with smaller wheels. Great purchase!

An Easter Basket Hit!
Purchased this for my four year old granddaughter as an Easter gift - and she LOVES it! It's very sturdy and well built. I live in 'the country' - not a lot of access to finished roadways - and the width of the tires on this scooter make it much easier for her to maneuver on country roads! The only disappointment is that the handle bars will not accommodate the streamers purchased to add a bit of flair - but a rubber-band wrap has provided the 'flash'!

Awesome scooter for beginning riders who want to look cool!
My daughter desperately wanted a scooter for Christmas. I'd seen her attempt to use the Razor scooters while playing with her friends and that went horribly wrong. The wheels were too small which led to extreme instability. I looked at the other scooter options for younger kids, but they all had extra wheels, which I knew my 4 year old would mock in a second. She's completely into being a "big" kid. I found this one and hoped it would work. It's been awesome. The wheels are bigger which helps with over all balance. The footboard is also much bigger than the average scooter. She loves it, her friends think it's super cool... cause it's pink. LOL. It also folds down for quick storage. I highly recommend this product! :)

Great first scooter
My four year old just loves this scooter. She uses it all the time, and it appears to be holding up well. Her ability to maneuver it and keep her balance on the scooter has really improved in the past month or so since we've owned it, though she was quite capable of riding it right out of the box. I've even taken it for a little spin, myself (6 feet, 175 lbs) to show her how to use the break. Another winner by Radio Flyer.

Good beginner scooter
I was a little concerned about buying a narrow scooter for a child so I got this one with the wider tread. It has been a really good one for her (bought when she was 6). Now the 4 year old uses it too, and she can manage it pretty well. I think the price is fair. It seems to have held up well after being used a lot over a year.

Order arrived promptly however when the scooter was taken out of the package it was dirty with marks on the pink frame, the handles, the wheels were dirty like maybe the scooter was used. The packaging didn't appear to have been opened before.
