Thunderbird Forest Dowels 3/8" X 48" Hardwood

I bought these dowels with plans to use them as arrow shafts. Ramin is a fairly heavy, hard tropical wood that makes for nearly indestructible arrows. The dowels I received are certainly not ramin wood. They appear to be some sort of soft aspen or poplar. They may be fine for hobby woodcrafts, but to market them as ramin wood is nothing short of false advertisement. Maybe real ramin dowels can't be found any longer.

I can't rave enough about this product. 20 high quality wooden dowels for a fraction of what it would cost at a big box store. They are perfect for my chile plants, which are now 2-3 feet tall and need help standing up.
