Review: Good erasers, they fit typical mechanical pencils, too (cut them to fit) - These eraser refills are very high quality, quickly erasing all traces of pencil marks compared to a Staples-brand original that just smudged the print all over. The size is perfect for typical mechanical pencils (I tried them in Bic and Staples-brand pencils) but you do have to cut these "rods" into pieces to use them that way. Cut into seven pieces each, you get 84 for US$4, a bargain for brand-name erasers.

So, there must be no dimension standard for erasers. A: No, they are too skinny, they fall out of the clearpoint pencils.

**Q: Will it fit a Pentel Clic eraser holder?**
A: No, it will not fit a Pentel click eraser.

**Q: Will the mr pen refills, work for my alvin ee-175?**
A: The Mr. Pen erasers that they are making now, don't even fit into the Mr. Pen Eraser Refill themselves. They are slightly smaller and don't stay in the plastic holder when you are erasing. It is very irritating. I have ordered 2 times just to see if the newer ones were any better and they are not.

**Q: Will this fit Skilcraft mechanical pencils**
A: these are not made for mechanical pencils  only for the eraser pens.

GREAT replacement for Bic mechanical pencil erasers!!!! LOVE IT! If you've ever tried using the eraser that comes with the Bic mechanical pencils, you know it leaves a big mess instead of erasing the pencil writings. I figured there must be a better solution. These Mr. Pen replacements are the exact diameter needed (6.20mm wide) for a tight fit once you remove (and toss in the bin) the eraser that comes with the Bic mechanical pencil. Just cut it to desired length. I cut mine to 13mm (approx 1/2") long; therefore a smidge longer than the Bic eraser. Now erasing is no longer a frustrating task. :)
