Really glad to find this inspiring book
I was really glad to find this book. I have been doing intermittent fasting for a couple of years. I am 73 and have rheumatoid arthritis and osteoporosis. I have quite a few books by functional doctors but they are not as simple and inspiring and easy to fit in your life as this book. I started with a 12 hour fast and now do about 18 hours most of the time. I had already come to the idea of the two meals a day and was delighted to find this book. I swim for my exercise but hopefully my husband can use the exercises in the book. He does lunch and dinner and I do breakfast and lunch. We eat lunch together much of the time instead of dinner. I made one of the recipes in the book yesterday, the pasta with bacon, goat cheese and spinach and it was delicious.

The exercises are challenging for an out of shape/older person - like me! But I do like the book and ...
Beware! measurements in this cookbook are metric!! Wish there had been some kind of alert before I bought it. Otherwise, healthy recipes, mostly simple to make. The exercises are challenging for an out of shape/older person - like me! But I do like the book and have already enjoyed some food choices I've never made before.

I love the construction of the book. It gives just enough information for exercising, fasting, and plenty of meals that are so tasty!

Great, fantastic recipes

Basically a recipie book.
The 190 page book consists of about 30 pages of information explaining the 2 meal day plan. The rest of the book is all recipes and exercises. I haven't tried any of the recipes yet and am just starting the program. I will update this review when I have results (or lack thereof).

I really like the recipes.
I'm 1 weeks away from a month. I love the recipes they are delicious and filling. The only down side is how long I spent on google converting some measurements, tempreatures, and looking up certain ingredients names. So far I've lost 10 pounds.

Great book
This book is brilliant in my opinion. I’ve known about fasting for some time and I know it works and it’s free! No slimming groups, counting calories, syns etc etc, tedious! I love the sound of nearly every recipe, the only ones I don’t like the sound of (and there are few) are the ones which contain food I don’t like ie. Beetroot - yuk. I will use lots of the recipes along with various fasting times, OMAD (one meal a day), 2MAD and just a regular eating day as this works well for me. The exercises look ok and I have done some of the HIIT ones before, I won’t be using them all as I do not want to put my back out lol. The only negative (and it’s no biggy), there are no notes re freezing stuff if you were to batch cook something and also whether if you doubled up on a recipe it will keep in the fridge for a day or so. But that’s the only negative. Very good book with simple recipes :@-)

Easy to follow recipe
The recipes are filling and easy to follow. I am not a cook so when I bought this, it encouraged me to make "healthy" and "easy" dishes that fills me the entire day. Worth every dollar spent. It gives you a variety and options to cook. A must try for first time cooks.
