With Coravin, you need to plan ahead and the application is always a hassle. With Repour, you just put the cork on whenever you’re done tasting for the day. My fridge just about fits a tall Riesling bottle with the Repour on. One way I can tell it works is the vacuum (pressure reduction) it creates inside the bottle when left on. The seals works very well for all sorts of bottles. Conversely, it won’t stay on a bottle of sparkling. At $1.5 per bottle, this is a no-brainer. The Repour marks the end of the Coravin monopoly. Seems to work really well and keep it fresh for a couple weeks. With each pour and/or more room in the bottle it’s less effective but still helps.
