The ONY protection offered is by way of an ADD BLOCKER EXTENSION for (that is to be installed on) SAFARI BROWSER. I use Google Chrome as my preferred browser.On the MAC BOOK PRO you get the MALWAREBYTES PROTECTION you are paying for.BUT I WOULD NEVER AGAIN pay for 3 devices, nor 5 devices --- when I only NEED MALWAREBYTES PREMIUM PROTECTION for just "1 device" and only one device !!!!!When I purchased my prior "Malwarebytes Premium Subscription" for three devices, for 3 years -- I did have an ANDROID PHONE in the mix with my APPLE iPad and Mac Book Pro.THIS AMAZON PURCHASE WAS AN EPIC FAIL, for a non-refundable purchase!!

I have an older PC with Windows 7 on it. As you can imagine with its obsolescence, less companies are apt to support any kind of software on it. I had McAfee but they stopped coverage 1-2 years ago. I previously had the free version of Malwarebytes, and it worked well but it was passive protection. I wanted an active version of virus protection, so I upgraded to their Premium version.I chose the license key option, and after creating an account, the installation was a breeze. It's easy to set up and doesn't hog resources as it's running. I'm also going to download this on my laptop with Windows 11.

Tied to change key on current software. Message said could not be used for renewals. That is the opposite of the bot response when I asked that question. Did work on one device after I uninstalled and did a new free download.
