Little smaller than the original battery (in size), but holds up charge nicely
It's a little narrower then the original battery, which is a bit wider, but the charge holds up fine. Also, I couldn't test how "fast" this charges since I had to change the flex cable of my phone (which connects the USB C port to the board), and I'm almost sure the flex cable I've got is defective, so my particular combination of flex cable and battery charges super slow. Like slower than an average device without any sort of fast charging technology.I've tested throughly and made sure the problem wasn't the USB C cable or the charger. At least I can confirm it's holding up the charge nicely.

Battery is fine, but doesn't always charge up
My capacity shows as 96% after several charge cycles. This will never have 100% capacity apparently, but the 3 year battery it replaced was at 79% health.Using my existing Dash chargers, sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. My old battery always Dash charged fine, so is definitely a battery issue not a charger issue. I've had to start relying on normal chargers to make sure this doesn't get stuck and stop charging at some random amount like 28% or 46%.If you need a battery, and don't mind using a standard charger for consistency, this battery is alright. If I had another phone that needed this battery though, I would look for alternatives. There are enough after market batteries out there to try to avoid the charging inconvenience.

Its a good battery!
I tried another brand battery first and it was horrible.. this is a great battery.. holds a charge like it should.. be sure to fully charge to 100% and unplug then wait 1 minute and plug back in for another hour to guarantee its fully charged.... then unplug it and keep using it to completely drain the battery till it shuts off.. then try to restart it to be sure its completely discharge... repeat this process for at least 2 times.. then do whatever you want.. this will reset the internal phone battery stats.

Good battery, crap tools.
Tools that come with it like all these replacement parts are total crap, however the battery itself is doing great. Replaced it as soon as it arrived charged it to 100% before booting it. Working on discharging it till it turns off than once recharged should be calibrated and ready to go.

Died spontaneously, shows 100% too fast
I've had this product fro 2 days now and today it went from 11% to 5% to dead in a matter of seconds, then when I plugged it in to charge it charged fully in 15-20 minutes which is just... (͡ ͡° ͜ つ ͡͡°)

Usable but defective
Battery is defective. Either it can't run all the way through or it can't be calibrated I'm not sure which one it is. The battery will die at ~15% and shut off the phone. I've calibrated it per OP5 instructions but it didn't help. Also it's a bit smaller than the original battery, which might be why the capacity might be smaller? Otherwise the battery works, so I give it 2 stars for being usable.

Bad Toolkit
The toolkit did not come with a T2 Torx screwdriver to loosen the bottom screws of the phone. Need to buy it elsewhere!

Tools barely did the job, battery is not great
I originally left a good review here because initially it seemed like an improvement. A year later, the battery is in very bad shape.Since replacing the battery, the phone will drop charge very fast at around 15%, which no amount of full charge cycles or factory resets have been able to fix. A year later, the battery barely lasts 12 hours of normal use. I'm back to square one.The tools barely did the job and completely wore out. Don't hope to reuse them, you won't.This battery might get you out of trouble, but it won't be a long term fix.

Great battery, new lease of life
I don't write reviews but I'm so pleased with this I thought I would and also take the time to thank the other reviewers for their tips. Battery came with around 60% took around 18 hours to drain completely, before its first full charge since then 26 hours in and still at 42% with 4 hours 30 minute screen on time. As per others need to go though a couple of full cycles of the battery before normal charging use but so impressed already. As per a previous reviewer i used a hairdryer to heat around the seam before even attempting the to remove the back and I think this saved a lot of time as I was able to get the pick into the corner and pry the edges pretty easily. I had to do this twice as I forgot to put the brace back the first time. When I was finished 2 of the 3 sides of the pick are gone, but I cant complain about the tools they are hard enough to get the job done and soft enough not to damage the phone. I can confidently recommend this battery and kit.

Took me about 3 hours to replace the battery.
Before replacement: this looks very easy, let's go!After replacement: been through so many troubles...I followed the steps on iFixit guidance, but things didn't go well. Two main troubles I met:1. Opening the back cover: iFixit doesn't tell you to heat the back cover before opening it! I didn't heat it at first and it was impossible to open the back cover. All the plastic tools were worn out and useless. I managed to open it by heating it with a hair dryer. There is actually some sticky stuff along the edge of the back cover. Heating helps a lot!2. Screws on the loudspeaker: There are 6 screws on the loudspeaker. 3 of them were really hard to remove on my device. The screw driver they provide can't do the job. I tried many other ways and finally managed to remove them with soldering. I put a bit of solder on the screw, placed the screw driver on it, and heated it. Then the screw became less "sticky". I hope you guys don't have such an annoying problem.Don't underestimate the workload, especially as a first timer. 4 stars because most of their tools are useless except the three screw drivers.

Battery great - tools really are awful quality.
Pretty much all the plastic tools snapped or wore down extremely easily. Luckily was enough to pry most of the case off.Battery swap was fairly straight forward with OnePlus 5 except removing battery was a bit of a challenge, the adhesive was quite strong.Hopefully battery life will be better now!

Battery good but tools useless
The battery is good, phone is holding charge for much longer now, but the included tools are useless. The included screwdriver is a pentalobe screwdriver but the OnePlus 5 has Torx screws, so not even the correct screwdriver for the phone.
