Gillette SkinGuard Men's Razor Flex Handle + 4 Blade Refills

Somewhere along the way all these Razor companies forgot that not every man wants razor burn, cuts, and ingrown hairs all in the name of a slightly closer shave. Why does Gillette not advertise this as much as their other razors? I had never even heard of this. This razor does EXACTLY what it claims to do. I can't imagine someone needing a closer shave than this on a regular basis. Seriously, even if you don't think you have sensitive skin you should still try this. It's really that much better.After shaving with this razor I have zero discomfort on my face. None. It's the first time I've ever felt completely comfortable after a shave. And I don't view myself as someone who has extremely sensitive skin. It's so good I'm confident it will be a long time before I try anything else.

I used Tracer twin blades for years with great results until they were replaced by three, four and five blade razors. I tried them all, Gillette's and the other guys', twin disposables and even my electric shaver all with disappointing results. None were as long lasting and as comfortable as Tracer. Until, ta da, SkinGuard!I've just begun using them so I can't comment on longevity but the results are so good I just felt I had to comment on the comfort. I use Shick sensitive skin gel and shaved a three day growth, a two day growth and several days in a row. The comfort is the same in each situation and is outstanding. I hoarded Tracers for years and I'm down to my last four cartridges. Feeling very confident I won't need them. Gillette, please, please don't pull SkinGuard off the market!!

Great for sensitive skin! Downside is you don't get as close of a shave. My 5 o'clock shadow comes in around 1pm. On the jawline I have to shave sideways along my jaw instead of with the grain.For my hair type and skin if I go against the grain I get razor bumps. So not being able to keep from going against the grain kinda puts my face at risk for ingrown hairs or irritation.But the good news is I can go a full week with no issues!I also shave my head and rarely have bumps there, so I kept my mach3 razor to keep my scalp nice and smooth. I recommend trying this razor out before you buy a large pack just in case you feel like you need a closer shave.Or keep this one on hand when you feel like your skin can't handle a normal blade and needs a break.

Great product and timely shipping. These are for my son who just started shaving . His skin is sensitive. So far these seem to be working fine for him.

I have had this razed for a a couple of months. One of the blades it came with had lasted me all this time. I have never cut my self shaving with this razed either. The handle has a great heft to it, making it feel great to hold on it. It not only looks but also feels like a great quality product.

This razor was a revelation in shaving for me. When I first started shaving with it, I didn't even think I was actually shaving, it was that smooth. I've traditionally used the atra blades, the generic ones. I can't go back after using these for the last month. You pay a premium, but it is worth it for the shaving quality and experience.

I felt great just after shaving, but for the three following days every pore on my face felt like they were filled with burning needles. Portions of my face that required more than one pass left my skin red and itchy, necessitating the use of cortisone cream to tame the inflammation.The handle is functional and well made.This may be great for a quick & dirty shave every once in a while, but you will not get good results without serious pain and some damage.Before you give up on traditional shaving, try a mild safety razor. It changed my entire outlook after this disaster.
