I got my husband a table lamp from the same brand for Christmas and it’s so beautiful we wanted another one. We got a different color series this time but it goes well with what we have. I’m using full color spectrum smart light LED bulbs and it looks great with an array of colors and brightness settings. I can’t get over how high the quality is and how vibrant the colors are. The design is classy and classic without seeming old fashioned.

Needed a torchiere because I gave the old torchiere to my friend when she moved to her new place and she thought it would look good in her new place. (It does.)Looked around for a torchiere in stores and on Amazon. Saw this one on Amazon. Read all the reviews on Amazon and noticed some people had problems putting the lamp together. Wondered if these were also people who can't do things like change the air filter in their cars or change the knobs in their kitchens.The instructions were not filled with details. Looked at the instructions and looked at the pieces and thought it may be a good idea to assemble the lamp with the pieces laying on a flat surface rather than standing up straight like in the picture in the instructions.Although a workbench would have been ideal, I used a bed instead. Screwed the four pieces of the stem together first. Had no problems with cross threading. Then screwed the socket part on to the stem, them stood everything up on the ground and screwed the assembled pieces into the base.Then put the glass shade on. Like all torchieres, there was the black plastic part on the socket that holds the shade on. Screwed that, off, put the shade on, and then screwed the black plastic part down tight to hold the shade on tight.Put in a bulb, plugged the lamp in, and turned the lamp on. It worked. Using a Lutron Credenza slide dimmer with the lamp. Amazon sells those along with many types of dimmable bulbs. I'm using a 60 watt Westinghouse Warm Amber dimmable bulb.

I love the sleek look and illuminated shade. However, the shade does not fit flush against the mount. Uncertain if this is a design flaw or engineering flaw. Regardless, I'm keeping.

I really like this lamp, which gives off the Frank Lloyd Wright vibe I was hoping for. It’s not incredibly bright so is most useful to accent a corner. For the price, I don’t think I could have found better. It was easy to assemble although I worried a little that I might break the glass before everything was secure

Bought for upstairs bedroom. Worked once when I plugged it in. 5 weeks later had company to stay in the bedroom and the lamp would not work. Tried different bulbs and different receptacles and it would not work. I took it apart and put it back together and still no light. So it sits upstairs and it was past my 30 days so I could not return it.

I'm very happy with the quality of this lamp.

This lamp looks like I spent twice as much as I did. Very solid base and stem, and sits level. The glass is heavy and rich-looking, and if you’re into gold tones, it can’t be beat. Very well packaged and easy to assemble. The instruction paper alerted that shade would have mineral oil on it to protect the glass, and to wipe with a dry clean cloth. I used paper towel, but beware, it took quite a bit of time , and still could have kept wiping - but figured that since the oil is clear and can’t be seen,, leaving a tiny bit would keep the glass protected.
