StovallProducts (5F) Pavilion Feeder

Very well made of good wood. Will make winter more tolarable for my ground feeding birds . Gave it 4 stars as i think it needs a removable tray to clean out the bottom from seed shells. Will have to figure out how to do it. I will probably put paper on the ground and tip it over but a try would be better.I moved it to the spot I wanted it to be in as the birds were not going to it till today. I think they didn't see the seed with the roof on. I am happy it has it to keep out the rain and snow. It will also protect the small birds from the Hawks that fly over my home., as long as they don't decide it would be a good place perch on and pick a meal. I think the slope will discourage them. Today I had a nuthatch and some sparrow type birds. I expect more varieties as the weather is getting colder and the Junkos should be arriving soon.I do love it and I put it on my deck with one side against the North side of thehouse so it won't get the North winds in the winter.

LOOKS nice and is well built with exception. It's as described, however, the roof does not prevent rain, sleet and snow from covering the seed content. It's been in use several weeks and the birds don't seem to care for it as all the other feeders.It would be better if it had removable floor tray for cleaning. Since it gets wet the seed is spoiled and wasted even with the small screened area it does not drain well.

Very well made and just what we needed to straddle an adobe wall. Made some wooden braces to secure it in place on the wall. Keeps the quail blocks from getting wet when/if it rains. Room to put a suet tray in with the quail block (which we split in half to fit). Yes, it is large, but we wanted large. Very pleased after having for about 4 months.

Nice, But...the whole reason I bought this was for a rain protected feeder - rains a lot where I am. So I get the feeder, nice design, good quality wood work...but there is a gap at the top a frame - enough that water will leak through it. Really? I sprayed some Flex Seal on the top so that worked to seal the crack. The Flex Seal is black so it doesn't look so good but whatever, it worked. Didn't need to go through all of that....product should have been better constructed.

I LOVE this ground feeder! My only concern was where the drain holes are in the bottom, the screen is not flat over them and I was a bit worried a bird could easily get their foot caught in one. So my husband unscrewed the screens and moved them to the bottom of the feeder and problem solved! They look nice in our yard and we are quite pleased.

Using this to feed a feral cat. It works well and seems to be well made. The wood is varnished, so it should last for a bit.

Good quality but it was too small for the deer block I purchased.

I have all of the neighborhood birds right here today, that is because it snowed last night and the feed was protected very well. I was surprised that there was no snow at all on the seeds, I am sure if it was blowing around there would be, but for a normal snow, it works very well at keeping the birdseed dry and available for the birds.
