FD-AI Lens Adapter Lens Mount Connector Ring for Canon FD to Nikon AI F-Mount SLR Camera, Infinity Focus

I bought this adapter thinking I would be able to use my old Canon lenses on a new Nikon camera I recently purchased. It does work in the sense that you are able to fit it to the body and then a lens to the adapter. The fit can be described as wobbly but it is not a huge deal from a usability perspective.Closeups work as good as I would have expected (picture 1), however infinity focus does NOT work "with a little impact on quality". As you can see from picture 2, the quality impact is significant enough to render it unusable for landscape photos. For both photos I used the same lens (Canon FD 35-70mm f/4).This all being said I would recommend the adapter for anyone looking to shoot closeups or portraits with their lens. If you wish to take landscape photos this is not an adapter for you and you should look somewhere else.
