I bought this dental cleaner hoping it would be better than the plastic nubby versions that haven't seemed to do much when I use after brushing my teeth. It was getting me nowhere fast. I wanted to make sure that when I go for my 6 month check ups I wouldn't have a bunch of tartar to scrape off.This tool is actually really good! I won't lie and say I understand what the flatter pointed head does but I tried it and it worked good. My preference is the really pointy one. I've managed to unseat some particles that my electric toothbrush hadn't gotten and it leaves my teeth shiny and clean.Value-wise, this is a no-brainer. I don't know that the tooth mirror is something I would ever use but it was nice that it was included. The travel case is awesome and the USB plug is short but adequate (no wall charger included). I think I would have rather a tongue scraper be included but for the price, you are getting a solid product/deal.

This felt like a high quality item. The vibrations seemed not good, deep vibrations, not like the poor buzzing vibrations. This effortly removed build up on my teeth. It also came with a case, which I was not expecting, but very nice and handy to organize everything. I also like the fact that its rechargeable. There's also abutton for a light to help you see better. It comes with 2 attachments. I am very happy with my purchase.

I’ve only used this once, and I read comments that said it takes a few times, so I still have hope for results. I only have one spot I’m concerned about, and this did not work successfully YET. I plan to update my review after a few more uses. 4 stars for now because it seems like good quality, plus it’s easy to use. My title is obnoxious intentionally so that I could capture your attention. I read many reviews stating that this product contained rubber heads instead of metal. Those people obviously missed that the rubber heads are the protective covers to the sharp metal devices that are actually used on your teeth. I admit I was confused for a minute, too, but you would think someone would investigate / read directions prior to writing a review. You are meant to keep the rubber heads to protect the device between uses. One of them is extremely sharp for in between teeth, the other is for the surface of your teeth. I wouldn’t use this more than a couple of times per week because you could easily damage your enamel.

A nice little "dental hygiene" do at home kit. I only gave it 3 stars on this review -- because it comes with only 2 heads, and BOTH are rubber tipped. (Maybe it's my eyes but the product photo showed what I thought was a metal-scraper kind of pointed tip). No metal scraper head in this kit. Only 2 rubber tips, one for in between teeth, one for teeth surfaces. A USB mini-cable comes in the box, but no wall adapter. ( They are so inexpensive to pick up at any store) so if you don't have one, you will need to buy your own USB WALL charger, to charge this device). I am 68 years old, trying to save my teeth, and purchased this for in-between visits to the dentist ... because my dentist's charge to have tartar cleaning done 3-4 times a year, is getting way out of my budget. So, for the in-between use of it, it's a pretty nice device. Works well.

Product ran well for about 1 month. Battery needed 2nd recharge and it was dead.Will not recharge.Return period ran out 1 week ago.BUYER BE WARE

First of all, I am a fan of anyone who is seeking better oral health. Most people probably research a product like this because they notice the calculus or tartar build up on the lower lingual anterior teeth. Tartar/Calculus forms on the bottom anterior teeth by the tongue and the upper posterior teeth by your 1st molars. These two areas tend to be tricky to visualize when cleaning if you are performing this on yourself. However, this product does a decent job at removing calculus or tartar build up. The frequency of use is what I would be most concerned about. Typically in dentistry we a magnetostrictive ultrasonics (the water device used during your cleanings) to do most of the tartar removal. A general rule of thumb is you dont want to spend too much time on one particular tooth at high frequencies. Doing this can cause irreversible damage to your enamel (the white outer portion of your tooth).In short, this is a great tool for maintaining good oral hygiene in between your 3-6month cleanings. I would only recommend using this product to touch up areas from time to time.

Day 1 - Awesome product, I had some build up and was able to take care of it on my own. Very simple to use, small learning curve that really just involves being comfortable with the mirrors and using the instruments while being guided by the mirrors. Overall I’ve gotten about 90% of the build up removed in about 30 minutes time. I’ve been doing it in small chunks every time I’m in the bathroom.I’ll update on longevity!

I have been using this for awhile and I don't notice any difference from what I was doing at fist.
