iPhone 6s Plus Case, Spigen [Slim Armor Volt] Built-In Wireless Charge Receiver [Gunmetal] Great Protection Case for iPhone 6 Plus (2014) / 6s Plus (2015) - Gunmetal (SGP11566)

This review is for Spigen's iPhone 6s Plus Case (Slim Armor Volt). This case is gunmetal grey in the middle with black areas on the top and bottom. Personally, my kickstand is extremely hard to take out, although my friend has the exact same case and his is very easy to pull out. So for the kickstand, it is either a hit or a miss. However, the functionality of the kickstand is great. You can't use the phone in portrait mode, but you can put it sideways and it makes it great when you're watching a movie or whatnot. The case has NOT interfered with my sound/call quality at all. The case has rounded corners and edges, which is different from the non-slim version of the case which has squared off, more defined edges. It gives it a slimmer look and feel. The case is very protective and has already saved my phone from multiple drops. On the front end, it sticks up just enough of a bumper so that if you drop your phone face down, the phone screen won't come into contact with the ground. Something I would like to note is that on one day, I carried my phone in the same pocket as my keys on accident, and my keys scratched up the back. So watch out for that.Moving on to the wireless charging. Now, charging on the pad is a tad slower than charging with a cord, but that isn't the fault of the case, merely the technology. In addition, it does generate enough heat to make your phone warm to the touch, which again is because of the technology, not the fault with the case. All in all, its great to just come home from class and throw my phone on the charging pad while I do my homework and browse the computer, or to leave it charging while I sleep. I was very surprised at the quality and durability of the wireless charging. I recently dropped my phone into the toilet a few days ago, and I thought the wireless charging portion of the case would have broken, but it still works as good as new! Very satisfied with this case. I can honestly say I'm MUCH happier with the Spigen Slim Armor Volt case than I am with my iPhone 6s Plus - which keeps frustrating me with its relative lack of functionality after living with a Galaxy Note 3 for two years. Why change? Android security is an unmitigated mess unless you buy a Nexus (heck, EVEN if you buy a Nexus), so an iPhone was the wiser choice for now, but it also meant losing a lot of features I loved. The Slim Armor Volt returns one of those beloved features - Qi charging. Once you've enjoyed the convenience, there's really no turning back. This case also adds solid protection to all but the front screen of the phone - an obvious lack in a case of this style. The case's front bezel does offer some screen protection in that it protrudes enough to prevent a face down iPhone from making contact with a flat surface.I found the case reasonably easy to apply and not too scary to remove, although it's snug enough that I don't consider removal a casual thing. I'm sure the extra 1mm or so in added length/width/height of the 6s Plus vs. the 6 Plus doesn't help. Still, the case does not feel or look like it's too small or straining, and I've had phone cases that were more difficult to remove.The case is "grippier" than the naked iPhone but doesn't add significant bulk - just enough to both protect the phone and make it easier to hold. It also adds the convenience of a kickstand for horizontal viewing. When not in use, the kickstand clicks securely into place.The included Qi receiver works great with both of my Qi chargers - a Nokia DT-900 and my personal favorite, a Tylt Vu. I keep the Nokia at my desk in my home office, and the Tylt on my nightstand. With either charger, my iPhone actually stays cooler than my Note 3. Charging IS no doubt slower than using the lightning adapter, but it's perfectly fine for topping off during the day, and is more than sufficient to completely charge a depleted battery overnight. My iPhone is fully charged and completely cool to the touch when I wake up in the morning.Despite my fears prior to purchase, it is actually quite easy to remove the Qi receiver's lighting port plug when I need to use the USB lightning cable, and that adapter plug does not protrude enough when in use to be obstructive or annoying.Finally, my only minor nitpick for the case is regarding the On/Off/Hold button (aka the "power button"). I have a weakened grip thanks to thoracic outlet syndrome, and personally find it's difficult to press with a left hand grip when using this case. I have to squeeze the phone hard enough that I inevitably set off the volume buttons on the left side of the phone before I actually trigger the power button The case's power button cover (which I like from a protection standpoint) makes the power button just a bit stiffer/harder to press, unless I hold the phone in my right hand and use my thumb - which is NOT how I naturally grab and try to use the phone. Given the bulk of the issue is caused by the new position of the On/Off/Hold button, not to mention my less than perfect finger strength, it's not fair to ding any stars, but I thought it was worth mentioning. I would absolutely buy this case again, and I highly recommend it.

Coque avec un look assez sympa. Vue l'épaisseur elle doit bien remplir son rôle de protection mais sur un 6plus ça commence à faire maousse costaux...Le système sans fil fonctionne parfaitement et la recharge est rapide. Et ce même avec une plaque de métal entre elle et le téléphone (pour support de voiture aimanté). Par contre une fois mis il ne faut pas s'amuser à l'enlever et le remettre. Vue que waze pompe pas mal la batterie je le mets en charge dans la voiture et le fait de debrancher/rebrancher la coque et bien la charge ne fonctionne plus. Donc ça redeviens une coque standard. Je ne la reprendrais pas pour mon iphone 7, elle ne correspond pas à mon utilisation.

Nice quality, a little bigger then I thought, easy to charge, good protection

OK, so wireless charging isn't essential. And by buying this case, you're only going to have to buy a wireless charging pad. And the case is bulkier than some of the "non wireless charging" options because it's got to have the charging patch antenna in. And unless you upgrade your hands-free mount in the car to support wireless chargin you'll still need to charge it with cables from time to time.But for all of that, it's pretty neat to be able to put your phone on the bedside table at night without having to fumble around for charging cables etc. It's even better not waking up in the morning and not sweeping half the stuff on your bedside table onto the floor because you picked up your phone without unplugging the charging cable first.The wireless charging feature works really well. The antenna is slim and discreet. It plugs into the lightning port using a small "tail" connector and it keeps everything tidy. The case itself offers the level of excellent protection I've come to expect from Spigen cases. It's even got a little aluminium kick-stand at the back which does a great job of propping the phone up on a flat surface when you're watching videos.On the down-side, the case is a bit bulkier than others because it has to accommodate the charger. The metallic look finish on the back has also worn off and scuffed pretty quickly - but rather the case than the phone. And then, of course, there's the slight off-centre placement of the charging pad which means that you have to put the phone slightly off-centre on the wireless charger to get it to work. And be careful not to rotate it too much or it won't work either. So there's always the risk that you wake up in the morning with your phone ar 10% battery...Before you buy one, ask yourself the following questions. - Do you need one? (Probably not) - Will you marvel at how easy it is to charge your phone without wires? (yes, you probably will) - Will you go all-out and buy wireless charge points for all over the house? (no, you probably won't) - Will you end up charging it using a cable (every now and again)? (almost certainly)Once you've asked yourself the above, click "buy-now" anyway because, heck, you've made enough effort to read this review so you obviously want one anyway! :)

Funktioniert einfach super! Das einzige was mich ein wenig stört ist noch der Preis, weil man noch die Aufladestation extra dazukaufen muss, die auch 40€ kostet, aber der wird sich ja hoffentlich noch bessern ;) Was ich auch gut finde ist, dass man den farblichen Teil austauschen kann von einer normalen Slim Armor Hülle, da mir persönlich das Shimmery White am Besten gefällt!Und einen Bonus finde ich auch dass es zugleich ein Staubschutz für die Buchse für den Lightning Stecker ist, für Leute die einen staubigen Beruf haben.
