Its a really nice size you can easily steam 2 dozen eggs at once. The instructions book is missing pages 5-8. And those are the pages you need if youve never steamed before. But its really easy to steam any thing. Just fill the reservoir with water and ste the timer to what you want. I usually steam eggs about 2 minutes, no wait8ng for water to biol and then waiting till they are done. Steaming leaves the yolk a pretty bright yellow. Percect for salads or deviled eggs. The price was right as well. It works great for veggies or anything really. When not in use you can stack it into a small size for storage. Really is a nice steamer.

This food steamer has been a great addition to my kitchen. It’s easy to use, cooks vegetables, fish, and dumplings evenly, and helps keep food moist and flavorful. My favorite feature is how easy it is to clean. The trays and water reservoir rinse off quickly, and nothing seems to stick, which makes cleanup fast after every meal.

When it arrived, I was stunned by how small this steamer is. Once I opened the box and put it to use, I realized it didn't need to be big for steaming vegetables. I had only used a stovetop type previously but sometimes it's complicated when I use two wide pans. Thus, I tried this type. It is not as quick as the pressure cooker we used to use, but we've not mushified broccoli or cauliflower since trying the Ovente. Seems like it's well made and will last a few years. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with this steamer.

Great product. It steams a potato in 30 to 45 min. Much faster than my method of steaming on the stovetop. I took away one star for how the heating area for the water gets the water minerals baked to it and I'vw not found anything that takes it off yet.

I love this steamer it heats up fast and works great. Doesn't take up a lot of counter space either

Perfect Size!!! I was looking for something that was smaller and easy to put together and put away. I had a larger one with 3 stacks and I loved it, but after it stopped working, I opted for something smaller and came across this one. I just received it yesterday, 8/4/26 and I haven't used it yet, but I'm looking forward to see how fast it heats up and steam my meats and veggies.

I wanted a steamer and compared a few models on Amazon. Out of 3, I decided on this one. I'm only cooking for one, so I didn't need anything too big. This one is the perfect size for me. Seems to be pretty durable and I hope it stays that way! Cleaning is easy. Just soaked the compartments in hot soapy water for a bit and washed them. A few water spots from air drying which isn't a big deal. Did not make a loud sound when steaming the food. I did use bottled water as suggested. Used the guide for cooking times and everything came out pretty good. The boneless chicken breast was very tender and juicy! Next time I need to add more seasoning. That's not the directions fault, it was my own. The broccoli and cauliflower were absolutely delicious! Very happy with this purchase!

Nice product for the price. You're only 400 w it Cooks better than I thought. 400 watts is a half a cent an hour. Timer let you do other things while you're waiting. And in case you forget it shuts off. Containers hold a lot more food than I thought. I didn't feel up either but a fourth of the way and it cooked fine. For safety reasons I check the liquid level twice and a half an hour to make sure there's enough. Doesn't take up much space on the stove or countertop. I have a lot of vegetables and when you steam them more of the natural taste remains versus frying and butter grease etc it's also healthier. I'm going to try cooking other items and we'll do a later review. I'm anxious to see how it Cooks fish. To speed up the cooking, I cut up my potatoes into small thin french fry shaped slices. I'll do the same for fish and other foods where able. After I'm finished I drain the liquid out, cool it and my cats and dogs love it. It's got that vegetable taste. Thank you

This steamer works excellent! It holds a lot of food! I steam an entire bag of broccoli at a time or a dozen eggs (it works great for hard-boiled eggs.) You can use one level or make it into 2 levels if needed. I’m very happy with this product and highly recommend.
