Joseph Joseph85161 Utensil Holder with Removable Spoon Surface Kitchen Accessory, One-size, Stainless Steel/Dark Gray

Lol I have never been so impressed with a utensil holder. I looooove the pull out spoon holder thing. I use it every single day. I love anything thats compact and stylish. I think Joseph Joseph does a great job with their design in everything.

The stainless casing in the photo makes this look like an incredible piece of kitchenware. Unfortunately you'll find that the weight of the product is significantly lacking and feels flimsy in your hands. If you start with just putting a few utensils in, you'll even find that the holder tips over. The plastic inside is certainly easy to clean, if that's what you're hoping for, but also feels like I have to keep it as far away from my stove as possible. No melting yet, but I don't want to risk it. Alternatively, it may actually be better suited as a sink-side container for your cleaning brushes and soap. Yeah, you lose out on the benefit of the retractable spoon rest, I guess, but your choice. On the plus side, it is actually bigger than it appeared in the photos--deeper and wider. I was sure that I looked at the dimensions before purchasing, but I must not have because the size certainly surprised me.

Looks good and fit nice on the counter. Great for cleaning out a drawer for extra space.

Product feels very sturdy and helps keep my kitchen looking nice and clean.

I have two main observations about this item. One, it does hold a good amount of utensils. But the other observation is that it is not real sturdy. In order to make it easy to clean, which is not a reason I buy a utensil holder for since I clean the utensils before I store them, it comes apart easily. I do mean easily, as in if you forget and pick it up to move it (like if you are cleaning and don't want to slide it over) the whole thing comes apart when the bottom falls off without trying to get it apart. the first time I tried to buy the item I got one that the metal was bent in transport, I assume, to where it was not square and you couldn't get the bottom on. I exchanged it and this second one the bottom goes on but, as I said, it will come off on its own I guess due to the weight. Since the top opens are wide enough to get my hand down in there, I may just tape the bottom on with some clear tape.

Looks great and matches all other stainless steel in kitchen. Only thing I think could be better is if the separator went all the way down so the utensils can stand straight up. Otherwise it’s awesome!

I wanted this for holding utensils in my kitchen but I ended up having too many to fit in the two sections. Have kept this and will use it instead in my laundry room to hold brushes.

Great space saver. Easy breakdown for cleanup etc
