I have had several of these and the only drawback is the cost of replacing the 2 -2016 wafer batteries . That said maybe it is not well known that a single 2032 wafer battery is the same thickness as two of the 2016s . The difference is that the 2016s are in series thus a higher voltage and thus a brighter light /faster discharge.. The single 2032 will result in a little lower light output but longer battery life. I can see my dogs red light moving about at night.

Perfect for clipping to kayak sterns when transporting on a truck bed extension mount. Our state requires orange flags during the day and red or orange lights at night.

The media could not be loaded.  Initial impressions: this light will come in handy for late night/ early morning walks with my dog. From the original packaging, they're just attached to a cardboard backing with a little rubber band. To activate the light you will have to pry open the rubber top over the battery to remove the plastic tab. This was a little tricky and I recommend you use something like a screwdriver blade or a metal ruler so you can wedge it in between the rubber to pry it off. To activate the light you have to push on that same topper with the battery side. If you press it once and wait too long, pressing it again will turn it off. If you want the flashing lights, you'll need to press once for a solid light and again quickly to get the flashing. The packaging claims a 20hr battery life so we'll see how that goes. For now they all work as expected.

Works well to add visibility when walking at night. 4 stars because it's not super bright, but it's better than nothing.

I can't put up a fence where I live, but if I attach this light to my black dog's collar (oriented on the bottom, facing his chest), I can always see where he is even on the darkest nights. The light illuminates the ground below him and he stands out to me and cars on the road, keeping him safe.

So, I can't mention battery life because we've only had it a month. We got this to put on our great dane puppy's collar so we can see him better at night. It has been very helpful. When you first turn it on it is red, then it cycles through the colors. If you want a solid color, you can press it again. It is a little hard to press on and off for my 7 year old daughter, but I think it is fine. I would buy it again.

Unless you have herculean strength don't expect this light to remain watertight. After spending nearly an hour trying to "screw" the back in place after pulling the yellow battery activation strip I was unable to eliminate gaps between the two case halves. The light itself is intensely bright and will certainly offer a measure of safety. I've bought many Higher items over the years but after the trouble reassembling this light, I pretty sure I will look for an alternative after the current batteries die.

This is really nice to have. I purchased this before a trip to Joshua Tree and it was a great buy. I was able to see where my dog was in the dark and make sure he was safe. The light is really bright and easy to attach to the collar.

This company is one of the original and still one of the best.Their products simply LAST. Wind, water, rough use. No excuses. These products are dependable. Worth the price very time.We purchased these for a creepy CosPlay look. Afterwards, they will go on my purse and my daughters purse and my dogs collar.(We have purchased many in the past - hence, I know what I am talking about). The previous ones are on our bikes. STILL GOING AFTER YEARS.I'LL post photos when I can.

Item works well but it fell off soon after. Had it for less than a month and can't figure out how it come fall off.
