Universal Typewriter Ribbon - 1/2 Inch Blue Ink Twin Spool Fresh and New Fabric Ribbon

I had to transfer this ribbon onto a smaller spool and it was so easy to do. The ribbon is hooked onto plastic. Just needed to get unhooked and unwound. You can tell there’s ink on it and if you’re not wearing gloves, it will get all over your hands. The blue ink looks great on paper, just like the picture. I have no had any issues and it’s been a couple of weeks. I have gotten the 2 toned blue/green. And the green is exactly what’s advertised. I’m interested in getting other colors from this seller.

It's a nice shade of blue. There's not really a lot to say about the ribbon itself--and that's a good thing. It's just a standard, well made typewriter ribbon, which is all you really need IMHO.

I love the color but the ribbon is quite wet. I'm using it on a 1936 Royal Model O, and if I type too hard, the impression is quite bold with a lot of bleed, such that it's hard to see the eyes of an "a" or an "e". When typing lightly, it comes out great. I would probably roll the dice and buy this again.

Another great ribbon for my herd of Smith-Corona manual typewriters. I purchased this ribbon after first buying their Blue/Green combo ribbon. I am equally impressed with the quality, universality of the ribbon wheel, and color of the ink. I've found my new source for ribbons. All I need now is a purple/pink combo ribbon for my daughter's typer (hint hint). Thanks again!

Nice dark blue with plenty of ink makes these typewriter ribbons a good buy.

Vivid blue, fresh and dark. The universal spools fit my Olympia SM-9 well, and feed reliably. The nylon ribbon yields good print quality. I will be ordering from FJA the next time I need a new ribbon.

Works ok however it seems sort of over inked (getting extra marks on the page with the type), but that should probably dissipate over time.

Well-inked. Good quality. Fit my Smith-Corona, no problem.
