Kind Ninja: A Children’s Book About Kindness (Ninja Life Hacks)

I really enjoy these Ninja: Life Hacks books. They are a simple and fun way to reinforce important character traits in kids! The illustrations are colorful with just the right level of details so they intrigue and entertain without being over stimulating. The concepts they teach are things we need more of in this world like kindness and forgiving yourself and learning from your mistakes. I highly recommend these books for anyone looking for a fun way to teach kids great things about growing up with integrity!Disclosure: I was asked for an honest review in exchange for an advanced reader copy of this book.

One of our biggest rules at home is “Be Kind” and we all loved the way this book showed different ways to be kind, both directly and indirectly. Kind Ninja sat with someone who was lonely, used his manners more, and even volunteered his time to cuddle pets at the animal shelter. A great influence on my little ones!

The media could not be loaded.  So strange. Was reading this to my little ninja for the first time tonight. The first page was blank which seemed a little odd, but then the story wasn’t quite making sense... about halfway through the story I realized that the pages made sense in reverse order. Our copy has the pages bound in reverse order. When I tried to reread the story starting from the last page to the first page and the story made sense. i’m still giving it four stars because it’s a cute story and it’s not that much of a bother to read it backwards.

This book was great for my 3 year old's preschool class to read for Kindness Week. My kindergartener loves all the ninja books too. They do seem to be geared towards grade school kids, but my 3 & 6 years old kids enjoy them very much. I wish that the author would do another ninja book just about helping with family chores, haha!

Kind Ninja used to only think & care about himself. After witnessing someone’s embarrassing moment, he remembered his mom telling him acts of kindness, big or small, can make a difference. From then on he goes out of his way to include & help others, which made him feel good inside. This book shows examples of ways to be kind, polite & helpful. Looking forward to reading the next ninja book!

Loved this book about kindness. It is so important for our kids to learn this at an early age, that even the simplest acts of kindness, like holding an umbrella, inviting someone to sit or play with you, can make such a difference in a person's life. This book does exactly that in a fun way.

This book hits the nail on the head. If everyone embraced being selfless, paying it forward and gifting others with random acts of kindness starting at a young age, the world might have a fighting chance.

This is one of the best kid's books about kindness, because it shows children, how to be kind, and why. Our family loves the Ninja Life Hack series, and this book about kindness is going to be one of hour treasured favorites! Fun illustrations, and a story that teaches valuable tools, without being preachy. Love it!

Of all these cool ninja books, I think this one may be the most important one so far. The story shows how Kind Ninja used to be, then what happened to make him want to change. It then goes on to give lots of examples of Kind Ninja’s new behaviour, and explains how good it now makes him feel. A great book to help this world become a better place, one person at a time.
