I have bought several Nite Ize items, but the CamJam is for very lightweight applications. I had to be very careful when threading the paracord to prevent it from getting stuck under the cam. It appears that the cam is attached very loosely, maybe adding a flip cover over the cam would help with any alignment issues. Or even a tighter attachment point.

Great device's, used for canoe sailing held in strong winds and under load. Release took a bit to work out smoothly but after a week or so its great. Using 5mm cord.
