I was doubtful whether to buy these as 4 came in at over £100 where a similar Chinese counter part was around £50. All I can say is I'm glad I did, I bought a NVR and 4 reolink 12mp cameras and these made it so simple to waterproof the connection. The Ethernet cable supplied by reolink fit through the cable glands so no need the cut and reconnect. They are a bit fiddly and what I've realized is you can install the camera on the ground, then install the back plate above with Ethernet cable. Then connect camera and screw the front plate to the back plate. If that makes sense? Reolinks own supplied Ethernet cables appear to be about 6mm. Inside the box is instructions, find which set of letters fit your camera and align on the front plate. Anyway basically these boxes will make your life easy, the install looks nice, tidy and without a doubt durable. They are really well built and I can trust they will keep the connection waterproof for well, basically ever.

As you’d expect it fits well for my RLC-1224A. The quality is good, made out of sturdy powder coated alloy. My main issue with the product is surrounding the grommets. Firstly, if your cable is entering the housing via the rear port you aren’t given a grommet to seal that hole. While the gland will screw into the M22 thread there is obviously no space for the gland to sit due to its size. It would have been nice to have a second grommet specifically for this configuration. Secondly, the grommet on the front hole (the one the camera tail comes through) is too big for the cable, the seal is obviously poor. I expect that I’ll need to add thickness to the cable with some tape to ensure it keeps water out. Given it’s a compression grommet you’d have thought they have undersized the hole. I’ve seen reviews mentioning the sticker on the front of the box, this can just be removed (though the unused mounting holes are still visible) The box comes with; - the box itself - 2x M22x1.5 blank grommets (with o ring seal) - 1x M22 cable gland - 1x cable grommet - 1x set of wall mounting screws with wall anchors. The screws each have an o-ring to seal the hole. - 1x short set of screws to mount the camera to the box (with o-ring) - 1x long set of screws to mount camera to the box - hole drilling guide - instructions

The box is proper good quality on a best pice you can find , you litterally can not get it for better pice , easy to mount and use BUT reoling are a bit misleading that that will fit MY reolink camera so unfortunately I had to return it

Used these on my new homes CCTV system. It made fixing the camera and the cables much easier. They are slightly bulky but do the job

Sturdy, plenty of room to hid the extra cables attached to the POE cameras. Everything marked up well and easy to understand. I would recommend you spend a little time working out how you’re going to fit and present it before starting.

Fantastic quality item, sure it costs a lot for what it is but the quality makes it worthwhile

The box is nicely constructed, but there seems to be some flaws in its design. The front panel has a large indent (that I assume is to accomodate a different model of camera) but when fitted with a RLC-520 it is left exposed leading to potential water/insect ingress. there is also an odd white foam sticker (gasket?) over the front, which is going to degrade and discolour over time, due to the smaller camera body this will be very obvious against the white finish.

De prime abord, on se dit que c'est cher pour une boîte de dérivation... Mais la qualité est au top. Le boîtier est en aluminium ce qui le rend insensible a la rouille extérieur. On peut placer la caméra facilement, et il est fourni avec un gabarit pour le placer... Gabarit qui est même autocollant et c'est top ! Il y a largement la place dans la boîte pour y faire loger le raccordement étanche, avec du rab de câble... Dans un boîtier étanche. Enfin pas étanche sois l'eau, mais au ruissellement, etc... Mais tout ce qu'on demande puisque mettre une caméra sous la pluie... Bref. Même l'arrière du boîtier et recouvert une mousse plastique étanche, et qui aide très bien a maintenir le boîtier en place sur n'importe quelle surface pendant le montage... C'est vraiment un produit bien travaillé et on sent la recherche derrière. J'avais fait le test avec un boîtier et une caméra reolink et j'en suis pas déçu ! Il équipe maintenant toutes mes caméras alimentées en PoE, depuis plus de 3 ans maintenant pour les premières. Au top !

Passade perfekt till min Reolink RLC-833A. Inga problem att montera. Får dock inte 5 stjärnor pga det höga priset.

Verarbeitung ist top. Zuerst hat mich der Preis abgeschreckt und ich hab mir universal Dosen gekauft. Hier passen die Schrauben, alles ist dicht und das Kabel lässt sich einfach verstauen. Daher 5 Sterne.
