I purchased this not thinking as much of it is elastis as it is. I put it in my F250 which is much larger than a 2/4 door car and a bit larger than the F150/Expeditions but I'm pretty sure they have the same or close steering wheel. First this got in my way. After installing it was taught and I had hoped it would stay in place & not get in the way-but it did. Two after a week maybe the elastic after being in the warm truck gave way and never pulled its shape and size back. Eventhough it was removed only after about 4 hrs of 83°. Three, the first few days I was using my phone for the GPS, I hadn't bought a new fisc for my On-Board one. It was rather hard to keep up with the directions on my phone while driving and the steering wheel continues moving. Took my phone out and went back to old faithful on the vent louver.

I really like the IDEA of this product, i.e. a device for hands free travel. The installation was fairly easy. However one of the major drawbacks of the product is that it blocks the view of the odometer, speedometer, etc. The product image shows the best location for placement as any other location would be a hindrance when turning the wheel or placing hand in the natural 10-to-2 or quarter-to 3 position. The installation "forces" the driver to tilt head sideways to read screen for use. I found this to be distracting especially while driving.The other thing that SHOULD have been obvious is that, one will have to eventually turn the steering wheel. This can be a bit cumbersome if using headphones.The device was a good fit for a Huawei P8, however I had to take care when inserting phone to ensure power and other side buttons were not being depressed or covered, which meant the phone was unevenly balanced. This may have been the "luck of the draw" but the rubber arm appeared stretched to capacity when placed on steering wheel, I also noticed a tear at one of the edges, but cannot verify if it happened during installation or if was shipped with the tear.After less than two weeks of use, the rubber arm snapped, taking a piece of the plastic casing with it and the only way I could attach the device to the wheel was to use tie-straps.There are just too many drawbacks for me to consider recommending this product to others and I'll be looking for a safer, less distracting option.

I have the GS5, it does fit it, but I have to take the case off my phone. (-1 star)HUGE safety issue if you use this while driving. I bought it planning to use it to read (via the Kindle app) hands free while sitting in parking lots between jobs, so it works well for my purposes. But it's promotional use is ridiculously unsafe. (-1 star)The product is cheap, but I expected that for the price and shipping location.All-in-all, if you're going to use this on your bike, or for another non-driving purpose, and you're phone is smaller than the GS5, it's cheap and it works. Not a bad buy.DON'Y BUY IF YOU'RE PLANNING ON USING IT FOR GPS IN YOUR CAR!!

Nice...I love this much better than putting it on the dash board and it keeps falling off at the sharpest turn.I never have to worry about forgetting my phone because once I lock my steering column, I take my phone off and go...I have left them on the dash and people have broken my window to get the phone or the phone over heated sitting in the sun, because I forgot to take it when I got out of the car.This is great for the motorcycle, bike and steering wheel. It really stays on and I am amazed, because this should have been available many years ago! It also holds Mp3's, Cell phones, kids 5 inch mini tablets, as I have a play steering wheel for my kids to drive while I am driving so I let them put this on their steering wheel and they end up playing their games and are very quiet and busy while I concentrate on the road.I would recommend this item to family and friends.

I liked the idea of this product. I think if the product had not been broken when I received it, I would have loved it. I may try again in the future to buy another one. I do like to be hands-free with my gadgets and this product would have helped me do that while driving or riding a bicycle or whatever. It's a really great idea. I may try to glue the straps back together and see if that works out; then I'll be able to use it.

It took longer than I thought to receive it. It really works as designed. You just have to realize....and I didn't perceive this problem until I installed it....that it will block your speedometer and whatever else is on your dashboard display. But that is clearly shown in the picture of the product. The little red plastic holder on the top seems to come off from time to time, but you can just put it back on easily enough. I would purchase again knowing its limitations. There really are no perfect solutions.

Fit very tight over F250 steering wheel with steering cover on. But it did fit. It took some figuring out, but I eventually got it off, too. You have to kind of twist the pull tab as you are pulling. The Samsung Galaxy S5 fit fine inside. Easily comes out when you want it out. Never fell out.In my area, it may not be legal to have the phone in this holder in a school zone. I don't plan on testing it out. I may ask an officer his opinion at a safe distance.

This is a great idea. I like using it as long as my phone is charged fully. I'm going to try placing it on the outside of the steering wheel since i cant see my dash well. Though it's better then blocking my window when having one hang on by a suction cup this is more secure. It''s great for directions It is secure holding my phone. The only problem is charging it. The cord gets in the way when you turn the wheel, the charging cord will tangle aroundAs you turn the wheel.

First of all good delivery from Amazon.in.This product is good , material quality is also good but there is some drawback of this product.1. It is not made for Phone which is higher than 4.8 inch size...so difficult to fix Samsang grand,Micromax canvas etc 5 inch phone in it.2. Major problem is that this product we need to attached to our car steering which create obstacle at the time of driving because it moves with steering, for high degree of turn it is uncomfortable.3. You can not attached your auxin cable to your phone as it moves with steering so wire get wrapped around your steering.Advantage:1. Not noise,no vibration rubber and plastic quality is also good. Simple and good product as per the price we are spending.

It is ok product.Durability is not there, though I am late in providing my feed back, the rubber part gave in much early.

This product is meant for only cars. It doesn't work on bikes or bicycles as the circumference of the pipe is very less. It's a good product. It can be attached horizontally only and you cannot attach the holder vertically. Your mobile will be horizontal only. Hence the three stars as the purpose I bought it for isn't solved.

The holder could be made sturdy and like a clip which will not move or come out when we fix it. Also the mobile does not stand sturdily..

This is a good and useful car mobile holder, definitely not the best. It is made to fit on the steering wheel. Someone has pointed out that it is tough to fit mobiles bigger than 4.7 inches. It is indeed tough but not very tough. I fix my Samsung S5 on it in less than 10 seconds. I fits comfortably on the steering and unlike other mobile holders which are large and need to be fixed on dashboard or windshield or ac vent. Great value for money, must buy at under 300. Nothing comes close.
