original bulb didn't work in anything i plug it in.. must have gotten a doa. need to get it replaced.edit: seller reached out to me and gave me a refund as well as sent me a replacement bulb that works great.changed rating to 5 stars.

So my buld burned out. I had the hardest time finding a bulb to fit, the stores don't carry them small enough. I ordered this bulb and it was perfect. The cat knocked my warmer on the floor and of course the light bulb burned out again. I ordered this same bulb and it was now TOO BIG. So, I searched for a 30 instead of a 40. Found them, the bulb is soooo small, but it does give 20w to heat the warmer, I guess it's just a trial and error thing. So What happened? I will never know! good enough to use!! price was a little high for one small bulb.

We use these little bulbs for wax melters to help freshen the air and get rid of kitchen odors - they work well but the bulbs burn out regularly - sadly they only sell these in pairs or singles and they costs nearly as much as the melter itself that comes with a bulb - my only hope is they will last longer than the one that comes with the melter.

Perfect for my smaller, wax warmer. I couldn’t find the right size bulb anywhere. All the bulbs word way too big. I think this is a little pricey, but it definitely works :)

bulb was fine, worked well, BUT for the application I used it for, it was too tall. I used it in a lava lamp, the jar containing oil didn't rest like it should, but was on the glass part of the light bulb, also I didn't read the wattage limits, not your fault, it was "my bad'',, thank you

The picture shows this bulb going into the exact warmer I have, but it is too small. It screws in correctly but the bulb itself is half the size of the original. I do not know why they illustrated this bulb using a warmer it does not fit. I actually have never seen a warmer that uses a bulb this small, yet they use wax melt warmer in the title.

The product that the bulb is part of is very nice. The original bulb only lasted about 45 days. This is the replacement bulb suggested by seller. It is not. It will work however. Bulb size is about a third of the size of the original.

I was looking everywhere for this size bulb, and it fits perfectly! I was gifted a Scentsy wax melter, but the large G50 bulb was too large and dangerous, but the nightlight size was too small to melt the wax. This in between is perfect, and it's a true G40 that I couldn't find in stores. Thanks to the seller! It's perfect!

Works if I got the right one, wasn’t strong enough to melt all my wax but that’s my fault
