Sometimes life takes an odd turn and you just simply have to adapt and overcome. At least that was my experience with these amazing spoons.For reasons that aren't terribly interesting, I found myself in the position of fostering about two dozen Smurfs. Yes, you read that correctly. Smurfs. The first thing you need to know about Smurfs is that they are much taller than as they are portrayed on television. They stand three apples tall, or about six inches. So, that whole living inside a mushroom stuff is utter nonsense. The next thing you need to know about Smurfs is that their housebroken level various widely between individuals. Fastidious Smurf has no toileting problems while Fecal Smurf, well, you get the idea.What does this have to do with spoons, you might be asking? Quite a bit actually. Smurfs will simply not use forks, knives, sporks or chopsticks. They will use a spoon and this product has pretty much saved the day for me.First point, these spoons are guaranteed for life, in spite of being one use only. Well, that is not entirely true. Kinky Smurf re-uses them is several ways. He says his favorite is to drill holes in them and then paddle Smurfette.Anyway, these spoons are the right size for the care and feeding of Smurfs.Bon apetite!

I taught a class on fabric dyeing that required each student to scoop out very small amounts of powdered dye from small containers and I wanted to avoid cross contamination from one color to another so each dye jar needed its own spoon. Regular sized plastic spoons were too large to fit into the opening on the jars and using Popsicle sticks would have risked spilling the talcum textured powder all over the place. These were PERFECT for my purpose. Though I did not use them as food sample spoons - the purpose for which they were intended - I could tell from their feel that they would be sturdy enough to scoop out ice cream or other stiff substances with ease. As for flavor, I can't answer that as we weren't eating the dye.

My preschooler loves making her own jelly sandwiches for her lunch at school. These spoons are small enough to fit into her bento box, sturdy enough to spread the jelly on bread, and disposable, so I dont have to worry about her throwing away real silverware at school. It is helping her be independent and self suffucent, so win win.

These are extremely cheap not sturdy or durable.. You could not scoop / eat ce cream with these.. Colors are not as pictured either. They are a pastel color. Probably good for small scooping of light weight..but not for food as the description states.

Our Girl Scout Troop used these little spoons to apply topping to their cupcakes we decorated (to avoid messy, sticky fingers). They worked phenomenally! And the colors were perfect for pre-Easter activity.

We use these for our cat wet food that we have to cut into four separate pieces in a can and I was happy to find them were such a chap price, along with the quantity received.

The spoons are used to provide sampling of our Double Barrel Honey (honey that has been aged in bourbon barrels(. They are perfect for our purposes and plan to order again in the future.

I’m using them as a totem for scouts so I needed to put a hole in the handle. Never used as a taster spoon. I guess they’re really good if you are using the as directed.

Cheap, brittle and expensive. They are nothing like the picture. Very not sturdy. Change the title to cheap , brittle and not sturdy. This is my first negative review in Amazon. Very disappointed
