New Cat Condos Cat Tree, Beige

Extremely happy with this purchase and obviously my cat is as well. It’s a very sturdy cat tower seems, Connec to be built very well. No chance of it tipping over because of the large size of the base and assembly was a breeze and appears to be very sturdy.

We bought the first one in May 2018. Over the years, the carpet and the sisal get ripped apart and pulled away thanks to murder floofs being murderous floofers.So we bought another in July 2024. Six years is not bad at all for a cat tree - these are made with solid wood posts, very sturdy. I do wish they'd make them with a less 'shaggy' carpet, since inevitably little bits of shag find their way to the floor each time the murder floofs scramble up it, but that's a minor quibble. The tree isn't cheap, but compared to the much shorter lifetime of previous cat trees we've bought over the years, it's absolutely worth it.

Nice quality and easy to assemble 5-8 minutes no tools required. But not real sturdy. You'll need to secure it to something. It will tip over it's too heavy.

My cats love their cat trees. I've had cats for 16 years. They love this one and the other one I bought. It's well made and worth the price. No, they don't last forever but nothing does with cats. They like to scratch and climb.

Flat out zero stars. The first one we received, as soon as our cat jumped on it, it just fell over and he was petrified. We turned it over and found the base was cracked in half. It wasn't visible from the top. They sent us a new one. It has been 3 months since we purchased it and it looks like crap. It is off balance and flimsy, and doesn't stand straight up. The carpet is very low quality and coming apart at the seams. It's made of that junky pressed wood and it cracks so pieces are now coming loose. There aren't enough poles with sisal rope, so the cat tears at the carpet. Now exposing the wood. We have it weighed down so it doesn't fall over. A $125 piece of junk. Total waste of money. STAY FAR AWAY! Of course it is outside the return widow. NOTE TO THE VENDOR, GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!

This cat tree is great! So easy to put together! Better than plush trees. The cats love it! It is pretty high so if you have a type of cat that doesn’t like to sit up real high like a Ragdoll then you might want to opt for something smaller.

Original review 2019: I was looking for a tall condo and this one is perfect, with a great price. I came much sooner than I expected and was very easy to put together. It's very open so doesn't seem to take up a lot of space, which is important for me in my small living room. Very sturdy, good carpeting, and the sisal rope scratcher is tightly wrapped with half inch rope. Weighs 40 pounds and is quite stable. There's no 'cabin' for the cats but I put a domed cat bed in the bottom dish and that will work perfectly. In fact, I may put a liner bed of some sort in each dish to catch any hairballs that may erupt over time, making clean up easy.March 2023 review: I ordered a second one of these as a replacement for the original, as it was looking a bit beaten up. Unfortunately, the new unit has much lower quality carpeting that is thinner--yarn fibers are further apart--and the vertical posts are about 2/3 the diameter of the first unit. Maybe they re-designed it to make it lighter to ship, but I don't like the cheap carpeting. I'm not sure I will keep it, as I might just trim the frizziness off the original unit which is still in OK condition.

This is my second cat tower/condo of my cats life thus far & the first one I got was incredible from petsmart…it lasted almost 10 years as it was solid wood, great carpet, sturdy & I could see it in person prior purchase, my cat loves pulling the carpet & it held up for years as to it not breaking down fast. I saw this one in it closely matching to my old one.This tower came a few days ago to a week. First off, the mounts of the hardware that are into the posts to where you screw on are poorly done. The screws are sticking out half way and some 1/3 way due to the compressed wood they’re mounted into & it probably shredded the compressed wood making the mounts somewhat stripped or unstable which ultimately makes each piece or bucket that screws on, pretty uneven. I’ll assume it’s the mounted hardware done at facility by Amazon, so that it doesn’t line up straight & leans to one side. Wow.Secondly, the carpet is cheap on it and both pieces that screw on are not very secure. I had to lean it against wall, not sure if it’s again due to the brackets being poorly mounted by Amazon or if the actual pieces were slightly bent in factory.One a positive note, it is simplistic in putting it together, great but the other issues counter it.It's too big, heavy and cumbersome to box up and return, even though the leaning to one side pretty much tortures me, if I look at it.I wouldn’t purchase again or recommend but that’s just my opinion, others may have better luck with their craftsmanship.. This is the issue with Amazon, for prices charged, I expected way better….. but it’s like rolling the dice with Amazon on quality. Bigger type pieces like this I knew would better purchasing in person, like I did in the past. I gave it a chance but lesson learned.
