This was an exact fit and works perfectly, mechanical aptitude is needed for self installation. It took me about 40 minutes to remove the old alternator and install the new one. As good or better than the original no issues whatsoever and is performing perfectly. I will add that I called 5 local parts stores and searched online including Rock Auto and advanced auto parts prices after core return was anywhere from $169.00 to $225.00 this is a great product and a phenomenal price $76.00 and free shipping received it 4 days after ordering was packaged great and no core charge! Best value out there I will definitely buy from them again, I asked the parts stores if they would match the price they said they couldn’t if I hadn’t waited a day to order instead researching I could have had it in 3 days highly recommend these guys!!!!

Perfect fit for 2006 F150 4.2L Ford V6
Absolutely perfect fit, works like a champ. Supposedly the original was 100 AMPs but this one is 130AMPs so I was more than pleased with the high capability. My F150 stopped charging and this saved my bacon. Save yourself $30 and buy it direct from their direct website. Easy installation.

Most alternators on the market are rebuilt or remanufactured so it is always a crap shoot.It was dead on arrival. Install took about 35 Minutes. Volt meter indicated no output. Do I fault the seller no and these things happen. It was 90 dollars cheaper then autozone even with a Veterans discount.But it has been returned to Amazon and purchased from Autozone for more did not want to wait for another part. Truck is now running. Will I purchase parts through Amazon again. Yes with no problems.
