The suction cups hold it firmly in place, and it doesn’t slide around at all, which is a huge plus. It really retains water which can cause discolorations and a musty smell so be sure to hang it so it can breathe fully after you bath. I appreciate that it comes with a washing bag for easy care. That said, the reason I had to replace my original one is because the mesh overlay eventually became scratchy against the skin. I'm not sure if it's from years of use or because my skin became more sensitive. For the reasons mentioned above, I do not recommend purchasing the white color. It became dingy looking after a few months which I didn't mind because I kept it out of sight of visitors. Still, the comfort and support it offers outweigh the downside, for shorter baths.
