You get what you pay for.
In this case I definitely got what I paid for. The pack of 10 arrived in good condition and I was excited to install them in my kitchen. At first they seemed great, nice and bright. But slowly 4 of the 10 thus far started flickering. We were trying to decide whether it was the bulbs or something was wrong with our light fixtures so we switched out the bulbs in those areas. They were still flickering after being on for awhile. Since there were so many good reviews I wanted to let people know that they aren't that great. I even tried to contact the company and never heard back.

I need to replace 10 recessive light bulbs in kitchen ...
I need to replace 10 recessive light bulbs in kitchen so I have all LED lights in my house. Unfortunately, these light bulbs have a buzzing sound, each and every one of them, no matter what dim level they are in. This problem is mentioned by some of the other reviewers; unfortunately, I wanted to take a chance, and it didn't pay out for me. Will be taking these back.Edit: I even tried to replace my dimmer switch to Lutron diva, and it still buzzes. If there's a dimmer switch that is compatible with these light bulbs, seller needs to give a small list of them, so this is not a waste of time.

(Much) Less than 1 yr life...
I selected Sunco light bulbs for our home (new construction / completed Dec.2018) based on largely "good/positive" reviews. As such, purchased Sunco PAR20’s (70 of them), Sunco PAR30's (50 of them), Sunco PAR38's (18 of them) and even 6 Sunco shop lights (4' units).Have had no problems with the PAR30’s, 38’s, or shop lights. The PAR20's, however, have been a TOTAL disappointment.Of the 58 bulbs we originally installed, I’ve already had to replace no less than 8 of them already! The first failure was no more than 6 months after install…ridiculousNote that by “failure” I do not mean the bulb “burns” out; rather the bulb just dims to half power for a couple of minutes then goes bright again.Stupidly annoying when a corner of the kitchen, or bedroom, or TV room start slowly blinking like this…Anyway, the only solution has been to replace these defective units with new ones (but it’s getting quite expensive!). I’ll look for an alternative brand when my stock runs out.On the other hand, let me tell you that the Sunco 4ft LED garage lights are nothing short of awesome! My garage is quite literally as bright as a sunny day.Hope this helps

This bulb is physically longer than all of the PAR20 incandescent bulbs we currently have installed. That means when installed in the range hood for instance this bulbs sticks out farther and looks bad. If the installed height is not critical for your application this may be a great bulb. For our use it was not acceptable. See the attached picture.

Worked Great for a Few Months. Now They Are Only Half as Bright. UPDATE: Now They Stopped Working
These bulbs seems to be made well and I love the beautiful white light from the 6000K version, but they have "gone weird". When I first turn them on (my kitchen has six of these) everything is fine, but then after about ten minutes one or more of the bulbs DIM to half their advertised brightness. (I checked with a Lux meter.) Then in another ten minutes one or more of the DIM bulbs will return to full brightness. There is some defective component in these bulbs. Hopefully the manufacturer will fix this situation. As of right now, I cannot recommend these bulbs, unless you are a fan of the old movie "Gaslight".UPDATE: A couple months after they go "half bright", they stop working completely. These bulbs DO NOT last very long. Do NOT buy unless you selling your house and moving in less than six months.

Great replacement for halogens
I got these to replace 50w halogen bulbs in recessed lamps. The fit perfectly. The existing 8 year old dimmer works well. There is no buzzing or humming. The only thing I notice is that even when the switch is off, the LEDs are still emitting some light, but I think that has to do with the switch (it has its own indicator LED, so I guess there is some current going through), so I won't punish the bulbs for that. They have done a great job of matching the color temperature, and these 3000K match the 50w halogens almost perfectly, and produce almost no heat, which I think will even help the A/C run less ( I live in South Florida and have a lot of recessed lamps in dining and living room, as well as in the hallways). Time will tell how durable they are, but so far, they have met expectations.I will be ordering more to replace all the remaining halogens.

!!Listen to the reviews these are no good for outdoor use!!
So far so good. I replaced fluorescent up lighting with these. The fluorescent lights were lasting just about a year. I'm looking forward to these lasting a long time and saving energy along the way.**Update Feb 15, 2017**OK. Less than three months went by and all the bulbs have failed/burnt out. We are using these for up lighting on the exterior of the house. The lights are on a timer switch that turns on at sundown and turns off at 11 PM, so the lights are on just a few hours a night. I absolutely do not recommend these for outdoor use.

Buy these.
They are perfect. I have about twenty PAR20 ceiling fixtures in the kitchen. Because my idiot electrician didn't leave enough space to ventilate, the standard halogen bulbs overheat and burn out in an average of 6 months. At $6 each, I was replacing 40 bulbs/year at a cost of $240/year in bulbs. These run cool, consume 7 watts instead of 40, don't burn out (ever, so far) and the light is indistinguishable (both color and pattern) from the standard halogens. And these cost $3 each instead of $6.Buy these.(Added: From reading the other reviews, maybe these aren't a good choice if you have a dimmer. I don't have a dimmer on them.)

Charge for returns and not totally dimmable
I bought these to replace some halogen bulbs. These are a very harsh white light, and provide a lot of glare. When used with a dimmer switch, they turn off at about 2/3 brightness, so you can’t have a low lighting situation in the evening.I returned them and was charged just under $9.00 for shipping, nowhere in the product details does it mention return charges, otherwise I wouldn’t have bought them..I’ll never buy another Sunco lighting product again..
