I've tried the rest, this really is the best!
I have the Manta mask with silk eye cups, the Whoop 3D mask, silk flat mask, and I have just tried and returned the Ostrich Pillow mask. The straps on ALL slip and slide all night and they’re too big, sometimes squishing my nose, making deep indents under my eyes and on my forehead with various other pain caused by seams and straps. The light blocking is awesome, so I tried this last thing, the Tempur-Pedic Sleep Mask. Even after I woke up this morning, I didn’t want to take it off, it felt so good, softly cradling my eyes, and I slept great! This won’t solve all my sleep problems, but it’s a big deal for me! It comes squished in a narrow box, so I let it air out and expand ovrnight and found if you sort of "unfold" the bottom eye portion from top to bottom before putting it on, it will mold to a comfortable custom fit after a little while.

Quality, recommended face mask!
My husband loves this sleep mask so much that he is now on his second! It feels high quality, gives a little pressure to the eyes, is right weight, blocks light effectively and completely, and fits perfectly (adjustable). The weighted pads around the eyes allow for the mask to feel so comfortable and fit so well. It has improved his sleep quality over the last several years using it. What more could you ask for? The first mask began to show wear after several years, so we bought a second to replace the first. We recommend!

Excellent soft, adjustable sleep mask that doesn’t touch the eye area. Completely blcks light
Very comfortable and blocks out all light. Does not touch eyes. Adjustable without covering ears. Highly recommended.

BEST SLEEP EVER
I have tried at least a dozen amazon eye masks and this is THE BESTTTTT. It does not move, amazing blackout, SO comfortable, and it has just enough weight to feel a lil pressure but not too much where it gives you a migraine (i have migraines so this is important).

These get the job done, but could use a few improvements (like being able to wash it?)
First, these absolutely block out all light (even direct sunlight) when worn correctly and even most light when worn incorrectly. You can fall asleep with them on and they will stay on your face all night. If you need them for a month or two, these will absolutely work for you. There are a few problems though. 1) I am not sure if or how I can wash these, so I am not sure how long they will last (had them for 2 months now, they don't look grungy yet). I hear you can put them in a delicates bag and they will come out of the wash alright, but the label on these says "Not washable." I removed 1 star for this: something touching your face for 8 hours and used more than a few times needs to be washable, at least at this price. 2) They are comfortable enough to fall asleep in, but the big bags under the eyes are a little uncomfortable. You might have to adjust them on your face a bit when you turn on your side to fall asleep. Unfortunately, these bags are the key to blocking out light, so I can't really dock a star for this. 3) I wear a 7 5/8" hat, and these barely fit on my head with just 1/4" of the velcro holding it on without being uncomfortably tight. Having said that, they do stay on even with 1/4" of the velcro in use, and I might have an above average sized head, so again, not docking a star. In summary, these work, they are comfortable enough, and if I am traveling and can't control the light level in my bedroom, or I am working odd hours and need to sleep through the day, these will be my key to getting a full night's rest.

Mask is not good, purchase experience was much worse
Well, hello everyone, and thanks for reading my review. I know it's bad form to leave a bad review for an item just because some detail about the purchase process didn't go well, or it arrived damaged, or anything not related to the actual item itself (seriously, Amazon, why do you keep approving those reviews?). So I must apologize to Tempur-Pedic because they don't quite deserve the fallout from the shopping experience. I did not like this mask at all, and neither did my wife, but there are obviously people who think it's great. The design is asymmetrical and if you look at the photos the bottom portion that rests below your eyes is more bulbous than the top. That is also the part of your face where your sinuses reside, and after about 5 or 10 seconds of wearing the mask I felt an irritable pressure in the area, and after that it turned to pain and I had to take the thing off. But as far as purchasing the thing goes, despite accepting returns for seemingly everything other item under the sun, for any reason, in any condition, somehow this mask is the only thing that is not actually returnable. But there's no obvious indication of that anywhere on the product listing page or within the description. In fact, there's a little item in little tiny text over to the right that says "Returns: Eligible for Refund or Replacement." "Wait, hold on a second!" You might be saying. "You said you couldn't return it before!" That's right, I did. Because apparently I'm supposed to not only see that microscopic text, I'm supposed to know that it actually means the exact opposite of what it says. Because only when you hover over the text do you see the little info bubble that says its non-refundable unless it arrives damaged. I'm sure it will work out after find the time to contact customer support and explain the situation and blah blah... well, I promise to be polite to the support representative who helps me, but I can't promise the same the next time I run into Jeffery Bezos, CEO and entrepreneur, born in 1964.

Best eye mask ever.
My favorite eye mask for my migraines. Worth it. I have 3 to have one home, one at summer camp, & one spare so can always find one when in the throes of a migraine. Definitely recommend.

HORRENDOUS version of the old product.
My first Tempurpedic eye shade was purchased about 20 years ago, when I worked rotating shifts and had a baby. And it probably saved my life. It probably would have lasted forever, but I lost it in a hotel room after wearing it every time I was on mids for 10 years. So, I bought a new one - same exact product, back when they only carried them at that weird gadget store in airports - yah, Brookstone or something. Anyway, I lost my second one (which, again, I’d had for about 10 years) last weekend in a hotel. I almost went back and got it, and then thought “meh, it’s ten years old…. I’ll buy a new one!!” But I forgot this planet has turned into a dumpster and that even respected companies are trying to pass off garbage for actual products these days. Don’t get me wrong - this is still the nicest sleep mask you’re going to find (probably, but believe I’m going to be searching for one that beats this piece of flimsy crap now)…. Point being, this 2025 version is an absolute joke compared to the version you were selling before your company decided to sell its soul to the devil. This mask weighs about 1/2 the weight of the old version, and with an eye mask, weight is literally the POINT - like a weighted blanket for your FACE is what I used to tell people when I bragged about my mask. No wonder all the people I’ve recommended this to in recent years have never said anything about it after they took my reco and purchased the product. The old one used to form around your eye sockets like a custom glove and melt into your face like a somehow feather-light and yet heavy-weight glove. The new product feels like the free crap mask they give you in Polaris. It’s *just* feather-light, with no luxurious weight to it. If that were the only problem (since it truly does still hug my face and block all the light when I first put it on), that would be tolerable and I’d chalk it up to Temperpedic bowing to commercialism at the expense of developing clients (yes clients, not customers) like everyone else. But the main issue is that the once-remarkable Velcro strap has been replaced by a now-just-for-looks Velcro strap that slides right down the back of my head and renders the mask useless since it then breaks it’s “seal” with my face and lets all the light in. The weight and bulk of the old, soft, luxurious mask was the thing that kept it in place. This flimsy not-even-close imitation of the old product can’t possibly stay put because the design of the Velcro is completely different. It used to flex on both sides - now only one side of the Velcro flexes. It was literally the ability to pull both flexi sides taut that made the mask stay on your face. I have 20 years experience sleeping with this thing (the old product, that is) - I’m telling you, I know the thing inside and out. Not anymore. I guess I have to get used to a junky eye shade now. Give it a try, if you have never had something that wraps around your eye sockets and smooshes to your face. It will be an improvement over the flat-style eye masks that let light in. And you won’t know any different, since you are just buying the 2025 crap version. Just know that this company decided to rip us all off for the sake of their own bottom line. Gross.
