Windows 7 Pro x64 Drivers - BIOS
Windows 7 Pro x64 PCEasy InstallI attached 4 Pin power but Not the 19 Pin Front Power. The card was recognized by the motherboard and the VIA drivers were installed. A reboot locked them into the BIOS.Both USB ports work flawlessly. The speed is good at 100Mps on an old system.FYI - These are my DriversGigabyteGA-78LMT-USB3 (rev. 6.0)SupportWindows 7 64bit+ USB 3.0VIA USB 3.0 Driver v4.20 116.85MB**NOT - v4.90a** 11.61MB

Quick and easy to install provided you have a spare PCIe X1 slot and power plug on your motherboard.
I have a custom computer that I built from the ground up in 2009. It has an ASUS Motherboard with an Intel Quad/4 CPU plus I added an ATI Radian Video board. I am running Windows 10 Home 64 bit on it and it serves me well.I recently purchased a WD 12TB USB 3.0 external HDD to use as back up storage for all my data on my home network. The motherboard only had 2.0 USB ports on it and the file transfer rate was very slow.Rather than spend several hundred dollars to buy a new computer or build a new one, I decided to try purchasing and installing an USB 3.0 PCIe x1 interface for my PC.This USB 3.0 Interface board was easy to install onto my motherboard, which had a spare PCIe X1 expansion slot on it. Plus I had a spare power supply plug to connect to the USB 3.0 board so that it could power any device that needed extra power.I connected the WD USB HDD to the new USB 3.0 port and powered on my PC. At 1st, Windows did not see the new USB 3.0 connection and in Device Manager the interface card showed missing driver errors. But after running Windows Update from the main Settings Windows screen, the new interface drivers were installed and Device Manager recognized the new USB 3.0 device. My WD external HDD is working as expected and I am happy with this purchase. Now I need to see where I can get USB 3.0 front panel ports to install on the front panel of my full size Computer Case.
