Nice nail grinder! This is the first one I've used and it worked well. I was surprised at how quiet the motor is, as I was worried that the noise would scare my dog. To my surprise she wasn't scared of it and now she has nice smooth nails. I already owned a nail clipper, but the one that came with this kit was much nicer.

Product holds a charge very well. I use it several days per week and never recharge more than once per week. My mellow, medium large dog has no problem with it. He just lets my grind each nail on every paw 5 -10 seconds at a time. His nails are more like bear claws so I generally trim daily about three days in a row each week. Noise level is low and it's easy with his long claws to prevent excessive vibration. Vibration could be an issue with a small dog where it may not be easy to grasp each digit securely. Even my young, energetic, large greyhound-lab mix granddog tolerated the trimming experience well. I don't have cats, so I can't offer insight into cat tolerance, though I'm aware that cats are usually less tolerant of most things. I have also used the trimmer on my own guitar playing hand (left) and find it very effective for keeping the nails out of the way of the fret board.

These are very quiet. With two dogs that are scared of any noise, using one of these nail cutters to smooth out their nails usually is a no go. However, this one is so quiet that I was able to cut them without them trying to run away. I love that it comes with all the tools you need to do a nice manicure on your puppy. Being cordless is also a plus for me....since I might have to move with the dogs.

This is great! Noise level is pretty low and grinds real good.My puppy was freaking out real bad when it would come to cut/trim her nails (I guess she had a bad previous experience at the vet). But after a couple tries and a bunch of treats she was letting me use this grinder without too much hassle. I know she will get to the point of making it a breeze, it will just take a little time.I hope the diamond stone lasts a long time since it’s not just a regular sand paper disc

So I did a review earlier but it mistakenly reviewed this product and not the intended product. I had not even received this product when the review went on there. :( I apologize. I did however, receive the nail trimmer kit now and have had a chance to use it. My dogs are such babies and freak out when nail trimming time comes.... They actually let us trim their nails with the grinder and it works great~!!! Thanks so much~!

Really good quality nail grinder for my dogs. My pups hate getting their nails cut using the regular dog nail trimmer. So this one is a lot more comfortable for them and they’re not as scared getting their nails cut or grinded down. I recommend picking this up for pet owners especially timid/anxious dogs!

The clippers scare me so i only do the very tips. The grinder is awesome. I have a itty bitty dog and she’s good with the grinder but you do have to trim with the clippers first. Eeek!!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Once thing that really surprised me, is that the dog nail trimmer is very quiet, and it allows me trim my dogs nail quickly before the doggy changes his mind.It’s a must if you have a dog!

This nail trimmer is super nicely built! It’s nice and small, not intimidating like my old nail trimmers. My jumpy dog stays calm thanks to how quiet it runs! Overall super happy with the purchase and would recommend to my doggie friends.

Literally terrible. Absolutely no power whatsoever. Works for about two seconds after charging then stops as soon as you try to file anything. DO. NOT. WASTE. YOUR. MONEY.

I read through all reviews, this grinder is quiet but didn't work on our larger dog. (80 lbs golden). While maybe great for cats and small dogs definitely not for large ones.
