This product is amazing for swimmers that don’t want to wear a cap. I have long hair. This product allows me to swim freely without worrying about my hair getting damaged. I apply this product in my hair when it is still dry. My hair is conditioned by the time I finish swimming.

Worked really well on my daughter's freshly dyed hair. We put a generous amount on before she got in the pool and she had very little fading.

I apply to my damp hair before swimming and use a silicone cap, my hair is so soft and not dried out, even though I swim everyday. Great product!

I like the smell and helpfulness of using this pre-conditioner. I smooth it in my hair, particularly on my hair along the hairline, and where my scrunchie goes, just before putting my cap on and swimming laps. When I go to wash out my hair after swimming, it is soft and not stripped of natural oils like it is when swimming without a pre-conditioner. It also seems to help my cap last longer. (I use a fabric-type cap with water resistant coating on the outside.)With that said, it is not great if I leave it in my hair longer than a few minutes before swimming. I have had a couple of instances where I couldn’t swim when I had planned and it dried in my hair and made it feel brittle and more breakable until I could rinse it out. It works great if you swim and then rinse off right away. Don’t let it fully dry in your hair if at all possible before swimming/rinsing off. If you do, don’t comb or brush your hair until you rinse it off. (I suspect this would be the case with most conditioners, honestly.) This is my second bottle—it is worth the money. It really helps protect my hair when swimming and I will keep using it.

I’ve used the product before and I know it works great, I was just disappointed it arrived damaged and leaking. Not worth trying to return.

It works really well

I absolutely love this product! It’s been a total game changer in keeping my hair soft in the pool. I’m in the pool 5 days a week for 3-5 hour shifts and I always put this in before I get in the pool. immediately when your hair gets wet it detangles and becomes soft. At the end of my shift I wash it out with shampoo (not necessary) and put a hair mask on my hair. With all of that together my hair is able to stay relatively healthy while in the pool. On days I don’t use this product my hair often gets tangled and feels very dry in the water, this makes sure your hair stays protected inside the water and keeps it soft after rinsing it out. I don’t know what I’d do without this!!!
