Does it work on brown hair

Yep, but only after bleaching close to platinum. The blonder the better. My hair is dark brown and sometimes I can’t handle the burn and stop at a light yellow and it’s still vivid af. I get lots of compliments on the street. Hot pink is hot on dudes! This stuff rocks!

A few weeks ago I box dyed my hair blue-black (no blue shows). Should I use clarifying shampoo first? If it works, what will it look like if I don't?

I recommend head and shoulders or aussie. But if you use a color remover your hair with turn a redish brown. I hope this works, but blue is the most stubborn color to get out

Would the purple turn out purple for unbleached dirty blond hair?

The lighter your hair is the more vibrant the color. If your hair is dirty blond it will show purple but most likely a darker purple than if it was bleached.
