I bought the medium. I measured the upper limit around ankle and foot and shoe size was within recommended range. The socks fit comfortably I applied as instructed and were not difficult to get on. They provide compression so you do have to pull on and adjust The sock fits smoothly and felt comfortable to wear

Overall a great product. I have many pairs of these socks in different colors. I always order the XL based on my shoe size and ankle circumference. While some fit great others are so large at the ankles that there is a gap, and some are so tight around the ankles that they create a bulge above the elastic band. My ankle measures 9 1/8” above the ankle bone. When they fit I really like them but the inconsistent fit is annoying. If it weren’t for this it would be 5 stars.

Purchased small size for women size 6 feet with medium width. The socks are not sufficiently tight for small feet, in fact there is barely any compression except at the ankles. I have purchased no name brands that are a quarter of the price that have a stronger compression but purchased these due to strong reviews. However, these are quality looking socks that are made in USA and I would recommend the for folks with larger feet. I really wish that these socks come in a smaller size.Updated Review: The manufacturer contacted me post review to apologize for the lack of compression. I agree that small feet are hard to fit. I still stand by my review that the socks are very high quality. These are socks that will withstand tear and wear. I recommend paying more for for a high quality product backed by strong customer service. Health is a priority and this company delivers a very good product for the price. Highly recommend these socks if you have larger feet and worth the investment for pain relief and comfort

not good for people who have large feet size 12 wide here to tight to wear

I must admit I had a "what the heck" attitude but these socks were great. I recently broke my ankle and have had some swelling while driving. I purchased these in hopes that they would help and boy did they. No swelling, extra support, easy to get on and comfortable even after 9 hours. I'm getting another pair.
