Simply the best running show I’ve ever owned
I am 43 years old and started walking about 4 months ago in an effort to get in better shape (I also made significant dietary changes). After about 3 weeks of walking I decided to start walking a treadmill during my lunch break. This soon became slow (very slow) jogging on the treadmill. About a month ago I got to the point I am running 5k’s or more during my lunch break and decided it was time to upgrade the running shoes. I talked to a guy I know who runs and he recommended Brooks and that I go to a store to get fitted. The problem is that during this COVID-19 thing you may have heard about I can’t go to get fitted, so I asked on my Googler about different types of feet and figured out what kind of feet I have. I ordered these Brooks running shoes a half size larger than what I wear in a Nike and they fit perfectly. The extra half size was to accommodate my feet swelling a little during running. To say I am satisfied with this purchase would be the understatement of all my reviews. These shoes have exceeded my expectations. I absolutely love them. If you are a neutral runner with medium arches these are the shoes for you. I highly recommend them. I give them my stamp of approval (whatever that’s worth).

Go with brooks ghost 12 instead
Not good for moderate to long distance running. Recommend brooks ghost 12 over these. Its worth sacrificing the lighter weight for extra support and cushion. I am a neutral runner training for half marathon distances.

Not A Neutral Shoe
I run about 20 plus miles per week and my Ghost 11s have over 500 miles on them (each pair) so I thought I would purchase a new shoe similar to the Ghost 11. I tried a Ghost 12 in a store and it did not fit the same so I thought I would try the Launch 6 as it was recommended as similar to the Ghost 11 and advertised as a Neutral shoe. It doesn't feel neutral as certain parts of the sole push up on your foot as you run. What I found out after my run is the cushion is different technology and the drop is only 10mm versus 12mm. This made a huge difference as I could feel pain in my shins during my run, which leads me to believe I will get shin splints if I continue to use them. Also the different technology for the sole makes a huge difference as I have been limping around for the past 3 hours because it feels like I have a bone spur now. Needless to say I wasted over 75 dollars on good shoes I cant wear. I say good because Brooks is a good shoe normally, but these just wont work for me.

Just Not Comfortable
I have owed numerous pairs of Brooks shoes and they are by far the best. However these shoe is not comfortable and it feels like there in no cushion in the front or toe of the shoe. Again I have been exercising in other Brooks shoes, Ravenna, Ghost ...These are no comparison. Spend a little more and get the right shoe

great shoe, made me faster
This shoe is the first Brooks product I have tried (have always used ASICS in the past). Have only put about 10 miles on them so far and find the fit and comfort very good. This is the lightest shoe I have ever run in and I think this does make a performance difference. I had been trying all summer to get my one and two mile times down with little improvement. With this shoe I suddenly cut 12 and 25 seconds off. Maybe it was just the cooler weather but I think it was the shoes.

Disappointed
I bought these for my grandson for Christmas. He wears these shoes for casual use to walk the dog or go to the store. They are already wearing significantly on the tread, toe, and sides which I feel is unusual given the amount of time he wears them and only a little over 3 months of use. He said even though he always wears a regular width these shoes needed stretching to fit his foot and also the toe area was tighter than normal. Luckily I had a shoe stretcher and used it on them for a few days and he said it made a huge difference. I would not purchase them again but do more research to find a better pair for the price.

Pretty good
I've been wearing Brooks for a few years because of back and knee issues, usually Glycerins. I wanted to try these because they're less expensive. Also because the current Glycerin options were, frankly, kinda ugly and these (in blue and yellow) are not. To each their own though - that's subjective. The Launch shoe is noticeably more firm than the Glycerin line, which was fine at first... but as I wear them, I can definitely notice the difference, especially in my lower back. There isn't as much cushion, which is painful and frustrating.

Terrific Shoe
I typically buy two pairs of the Launch 6 to wear on alternating days (per doctor's orders). Initially, I would buy in-store, but switched to online during the pandemic. They were always true to size and style. I didn't realize how much so until I couldn't find them the next time I went to order, and I resorted to ordering a Launch 7 style. I figured, how different could they be. A lot, it turns out. From now on, I will ONLY order the Launch 6.

Great value running shoes.
Great pair of shoes, having read a number of reviews I decided to give them a try. I do mainly 3k to 10k road runs and the shoes are really comfortable and supportive, I'd recommend them and the seller. The price was competitive and the delivery was earlier than predicted.

A narrow fitting shoe
Can't really comment to any great extent because as soon as I put them on I knew they were going to be returned. The toe box area is really narrow and squeezes your toes. This is a review from someone who receives comments about how narrow their feet are.... Apart from that the fit was as expected i.e length of shoe and width apart from the toe area.

Really comfortable
I jog (very slowly) up to 3 times a week and do around 12-15 Km per week. At my age, 60+, I need running shoes that need to be comfortable and that will help reduce impact and muscle strain. These shoes really do help and very well made as well. Highly recommended.

Look great and a brilliant running shoe.
Great shoes and I am now using them in readiness for my next marathon. They are light and smart looking. Went for a run in them and I just bounced along.

Excellent quality, fit and comfort
I love the quality and comfort of these Brooks running shoes. I have flat feet and they provide great support. Will be back for more.
