Really heavy and solid. Great quality and nice and unique.

I got this tea set for my house mate which is great as I also get to use it, haha! She loves it and so do I :) It brightens up a cuppa with a friend, and makes it feel more special, more of an occasion, but with no extra effort. On a practical note, you can keep the tea warm with a candle inside the warmer thing. Nothing worse than your tea going tepid when you get carried away chatting! I can definitely recommend this tea set as it's good quality and should last a lifetime.

The only way to get 100˚C water it seems that you have to use the tea light holder. Even if you rinse the teapot in hot water before it soon becomes tepid. It seems like all the heat goes into the teapot and cups, because the cups get too hot to hold but the tea is too cold.Everything tastes like metal even when I stopped using the cups, everything still tasted like metal. The delicate flavours of my expensive tea are completely lost on this expensive piece of metal. The edges of the teapot where the handle and the pot are connected are turning rusty.All in all this was the biggest disappointing purchase that I have probably ever made, especially as all the reviews were so good.The tea scoop is quite nice though.

The teapot looks nice but I didn't receive the Bamboo measuring spoon. I'm really disappointed as this was a feature I was looking forward to.

I don't usually write reviews, but this is really an exceptional product for the price. The tea pot is huge! for a tetsubin and really well made! The entire set is very good quality. It's not often that I'm impressed with the quality of a product, but this is one of those times.You need to buy this.
