Bon Jovi: This Left Feels Right Live

Well the boys are back, and they are better than ever! It is no wonder why they have always been my favorite band. It is very rare to find a band that cares so much about their fans, and their music, that they work their butts off to give us something new, and amazing every time. Some people, like the reviewer directly below me, are content with buying, and hearing the same songs over, and over, and over again. More power to them. Just stick to buying albums from bands that give you the same recordings of songs, with new arrangements throughout 5 different Greatest Hits albums. I will stick with Bon Jovi. A band that really cares about their fans.I really wish I could have been at this concert. The songs sound amazing with their new direction. The picture quality is killer. The DVD comes with great extras including interactive poker with the band, and video of six songs performed live in concert in Hyde Park England. Their is also a 30 minute making of the concert, mini documentary. I can not rate this DVD high enough. Any true Bon Jovi fan will love this. Hell, anyone would love this! Rock on Bon Jovi!!!!!!!!!

A great DVD for any Bon Jovi fan. Hours of music along with an interview. While I did grow up with Bon Jovi in the 1980s, I spent the 2000s immersed in work and babies, and therefore missed a great deal of music; I'm just catching up now! The stripped-down, more acoustic music on this disc is just great; you can really hear, see, and feel Jon's emotions in the songs he sings. The lyrics also take on a deeper meaning. A great DVD for when you just want to lose yourself in Bon Jovi music and leave the world behind. I have the TLFR album as well, but the DVD has so much more music on it that I prefer listening to the DVD rather than the album. Oh, and Jon looks exceptionally beautiful on this DVD as well...just had to say that. :)

This Left Feels Right Live was recorded in front of a home town crowd in Atlantic City. The concert was recorded at the Borgata Hotel and Casino and the audience was just large enough to make this a more intimate evening than usual at a Bon Jovi concert.Playing in support of their This Left Feels Right CD the band worked its way through reinvented classics for nearly two hours. It is important to realize that this is not an acoustic set but a reworked set. The songs take on new meaning in their new arrangements. As a person who came upon Bon Jovi music late this DVD was very good although some fans are quibbling over the new sound.I viewed the standard definition two disc set and had no issues with either picture or sound quality. The bonus disc offered six additional songs presented from the Hyde Park concert. The clips may be viewed on their own or as part of a Clip Poker segment. Also included are a photo gallery and an interview segment.

I always wanted to have these particular product because the interactive video inside it's one of the best developed in the industry.

I knew that I would love this reinvention of classic hits and I purchased the CD - this DVD is a refreshing smaller venue and each of the songs are performed with style and commitment. Great Stuff !!!!This music is reimagined, but I emphasize not unplugged. Excellent.My DVD came in terrific condition and plays and sounds Awesome!!

I LOVE this dvd!!! I think it just adds to the evidence that Bon Jovi is the greatest band out there! They take songs we all know and love and totally revamp them into something new... it's like an entirely new collection of songs. You have to think of them as NEW songs and not re-dos or you won't enjoy this. If you can let go of the oldies for a couple of hours you'll love this dvd! Jon is super hot in it too! The lounge style of singing definitely works for him! I give it two thumbs way way up!

I bought this dvd for my JBJ collection it was great! A lot of his hits just done in a more mellow tone. Did not disappoint 😊👍❤️

Anni fa avevo già acquistato il CD con i brani e lo avevo consumato. Il prezzo conveniente mi ha convinto nell'acquisto del DVD del concerto e devo dire che se i bon jovi mettessero oggi la metà dell' impegno che hanno messo nel rielaborare i loro successi avremmo tra le mani un nuovo classico come slippery when wet o new Jersey. Brani stupendi che prendono nuova vita e che molte volte superano in bellexza gli originali in versione elettrica, cito a caso bornti ne my baby e wanted dead or alive. Grandissimi, peccato però dover oggi ascoltare burning bridges addirittura senza richie sambora...in questo DVD abbiamo i veri bon jovi r fatevi un piacere comprate il CD o DVD del concerto non ve ne pentirete.

Recomiendo la compra de este DVD a todos los verdaderos fans de Bon Jovi. Estoy encantada con este! Una gran compra sin duda

Got this DVD and absolutely love it!! Get to see Bon Jovi perform in a smaller more intimate venue doing the numbers from This Left Feels Right...so not their usual numbers which makes it unique! Jon even takes some time to tell the audience some jokes!! Wonderful DVD - if you are a Bon Jovi fan you will love it!! Great addition to your collection!!

Auch wenn die LOST HIGHWAY DVD mit ähnlichem Flair festgehalten wurde (besondere Kulisse, nicht ganz so viele Fans), so kommt sie nicht an die THIS LEFT FEELS RIGHT DVD heran, allein die Songauswahl ist klasse und die Neuinterpretationen sind wirklich sehr gelungen. Die wohl außergewöhnlichste Neufassung ist dem Titel YOU GIVE LOVE A BAD NAME zuzuschreiben. Sehr sexy und evtl. sogar besser als die Originalfassung. Alles in allem eine ruhige DVD, daher auch besonders empfehlenswert für zweisame Stunden. Bild und Ton sind absolut in Ordnung, auch wenn es diesbezüglich bessere Musik-DVDs gibt. Sambora erstklassig wie immer (finde ich eh besser als Jon). Jons Stimme ist für mich nach all den Jahren vom eher rauhen zu etwas knatschigem geworden, was ich negativ bemerkt habe. Hier fällt dies aber nicht so ins Gewicht, da die Songs auf dieser DVDs sich in ganz anderem Gewand präsentieren. Während in der Originalfassung von beispielsweise BAD MEDICINE die rauhe Stimme von damals dem Lied ein gewisses Flair verlieh, so wirkt der Song auf der Crush DVD etwas ungehobelt. Doch bei den Interpretationen dieser vorliegenden DVD stört es kein bisschen, dass Jons Stimme nicht mehr so ist wie früher. Und auch wenn sich manche darüber ärgern, dass dieses Konzert nicht so "rockig" ist, so ist es dennoch ROCK erster Güte. Das einzige was zeitweilig nervt ist Jons Bühnenpräsens. Tut mir Leid, aber der Mann kann sich einfach nicht bewegen. Aber ich denke in erster Linie kommt es ja auf die Musik und Stimmung an. Und die passt. Wünschenswert wäre eine längere Läufzeit gewesen, aber 108 Minuten sind durchaus vertretbar. Also absolute Kaufempfehlung, denn hier gibt es keinen Song, der übersprungen werden muss.
