BareMinerals Complexion Rescue Hydrating Foundation Stick 0.35 oz - Cedar

Luv this hydrating foundation but unfortunately can’t get anymore even retail and from manufacturer. Hopefully that will change.

I had always wanted to try Bare Minerals, but the cost had always deterred me. But one day, I stumbled upon this foundation stick on Amazon for over $10 less than what it sells for in stores and on other sites, so I decided to give it a go. So happy I did! I found a shade that matches my complexion better than any other make up I have used before. It glides on smooth, provides moisture for your skin, and looks so natural. It doesn't feel heavy at all and does not cause your skin to break out. I use this as a cover stick instead of a foundation and apply a mineral powder to finish. My skin looks great! Thank you Bare Minerals and Thank you Amazon!

I spent 5 years loving this foundation, but apparently BareMineral's has discontinued it. Boo on them!!!

I’ve had other foundation sticks that were more solid and didn’t get damaged as easy

After trying various products, this has become my favorite, nice coverage, not dry.

I’ve been using bare minerals products since I was 18, now I’m 38. So for 20 years I’ve been using the products. I love them and will never switch. However, there have only been 3 products I’ve tried and not liked. One was a cream eyeshadow pallet, any mascara and the other was this cream foundation stick. I am 20 weeks pregnant with my 4th and it’s winter and my skin is so dry due to hormones and the weather. So I thought I’d give this one a try if nothing to get through the winter. I like the idea of a stick too because we have some travel booked in the near future, it’s small and portable and easy, and won’t crack if it’s dropped like aPressed powder. I really wanted to like it. The color is right on for me, but just clung to my brush when I tried that as an application technique. I used my fingers and it spread nicely, but fell into my pores and accentuated my fine lines under my eyes, and clung to my peach fuzz. I didn’t feel like it was especially hydrating or beneficial. I looked like I had thick makeup on even though it was light and felt like I was barely wearing anything. Plus it was Badley melted when I received it. I returned because of the overall experience using the product for a day or two.

I like that it’s convenient and in one stick

I typically use the tinted moisturizer in the same shade. However, I was preparing to fly and thought that purchasing the foundation in this form would be more convenient when going through security.Here are my thoughts:Stick:Pro- better coverage coverage is very buildable a little goes a long way smaller packaging so it’s easier for travelCon- it more expensive compared to the liquid it can become cakey if applied too thick it can settle in fine lines (I didn’t know they were there!) not as much productTinted moisturizer:Pro- the coverage is fairly buildable Lightweight Never cakey Does not settle into fine lines or wrinkles Makes skin dewy Product seems to last a lot longer (more for the $$$)Con- costs a little less can make you appear shiny not as much coverage, always more sheer packaging more bulkyShared- SPF Shade is the same regardless of formOverall, I like both. This product beats the tinted moisturizer just by a smidge in my opinion due to ease of carrying it with me and the better coverage. However, I’ll probably keep both in my makeup bag and use whichever one is indicated depending on the situation at hand. In the end, I like both products.

I have used this product before and love it. Coverage is good and can be used to touch up later in the day if needed. Handy stick makeup with no mess too

Quick service and great value

Love the buildable coverage, hydration, ethics and value for money. I’ve tried many a foundation stick and this suits both my mature skin and that of my teenagers. We buy a few tones between us and mix them to match our skin tone.

I just love this! So easy to apply, looks natural and doesn’t feel greasy or heavy. Have been a Bare Minerals fan for a long time but after suffering a lot of dry skin problems with the menopause I needed something more than the powder and this is ideal. My skin is v sensitive and this hasn’t upset it at all.

I bought this for me and I love it! Definitely I will buy it again. It blends easy in to the skin giving a glowy and healthy look.I highly recommend it.
