I purchased this item as I was specifically looking for a retractable lip brush, and this fit the bill perfectly for me. I was having such a hard time finding a quality, retractable lip brush (I've tried Maybelline, which is decent and what I was using prior, and E.L.F., which I do NOT recommend if you have full lips as the brush is tiny & it retracts as you're blending your lip color which is a pain). I have full lips, and I have never come across a lip brush that has as wide a brush as these do which is perfect to blend my lip liner & lip color more evenly. The wider brush is covered with a cap that you simply pull off. Since it's dual ended, the retractable brush end has a brush that's slightly smaller for detail work & is perfect for blending the edges of your lips. The retractable end is simple to use - just place your thumb & forefinger near the retractable end and pull up. I purchased the gold/purple/black set, and I just had to give 5 stars as these brushes are truly perfect for me. The price was reasonable, and it is a pack of 3 which allows me to keep 1 in my bathroom, 1 in my purse, and 1 at work as I am always touching up my lip color! These brushes could also be used to apply eye color, concealer, etc., so just a great product all around.

I like the travel aspect of these brushes. All feel soft and are great for precision. I use one for lip application and another for my tattoo cover up kit. The only real gripe I have is that the retraction action of the smaller brush gets in the way of application at times. When you press down, you need to make sure you’re holding the brush closer to the bristles or the brush will disappear back inside the handle. Other than that, pretty great deal for three brushes of a nice quality. Also, pretty great for cleaning. I use normal makeup brush cleaner or Dawn dish soap and some 99% alcohol for disinfecting.

Since the brushes are retractable, they won't smear off onto your makeup kit or purse. I use each color for a different purpose, such as a separate one for lip lining, and another for filling in the color. Plus, I have one in my purse. The dual brush is convenient and they are easy to clean.

I’m writing this review over a year after I bought these lip brushes. For the price they are awesome. You get 3 in a pack and I’m still on the first one. Every other brand I’ve tried has never lasted beyond a couple of months, either the retractable part stops working or bristles just come out of the actual brush. I use this pretty much every day and it’s amazing!

these handy little brushes were just as described. One end has a cap with a slightly wider brush. Other end retracts easily using one hand with a quick pull-down action to reveal a smaller pointed brush. Either brush can be used to reach down into your lipstick tube and swish out that last bit of your favorite lipstick and apply to your lips, so it's not wasted just because it's down below the rim of the tube. Will be ordering more of these for adding to birthday gifts, stocking stuffers, etc. Great find!

The brushes are nice because they are sturdy and retractable. I was hoping the bristles would be softer so as to apply eye shadow, etc. The bristles are stiff and best for lip gloss; lipstick, etc.

These are excellent easy to use lip brush but I use for eye shadow as well having a dual end brush. The brush head is good quality keeps a firm strong line that blends well. Use it everyday and washes without loss of bristles. Highly recommend over much pricier similar.
