I used this wire light to encircle a specific shape and it worked perfectly. The remote is simple, nice product!

When I bought this to decorate, I didn't realize how LONG it actually was.Problem was though they had made it so that it was rolled backwards which made it a pain.The plug end was added after the string was rolled on and it was added to where they started the roll, not finished.The entire time I was unwinding it, I had to made sure that the plug wasn't getting twisted and breaking off.

The media could not be loaded.  I was totally surprised that such a tiny box of lights could encircle our 9' tree TWICE! There are different modes that are programed in the remote so you can adjust how the lights twinkle and how bright they shine! These lights are a wonderful addition to our holiday decor!

We have bears, coyotes, raccoons, skunks… lots of things that like to eat chickens. I was mostly worried about the bears as they can get through fencing if they want. I added this to my electric fence (on its own row) and LOVE that it has a remote control so I can change the flicker or turn it off remotely. I read that red flickering lights will make them think twice about approaching—makes them think it’s fire. I’ve had no trouble with predators. Plenty long so it wrapped around my entire run and coop. It looks pretty eery from a distance.

These are not what you’d consider Christmas. They are pink, purple, green and a yellow color. They are neat, but not what I wanted. Too late to return them. But more suitable for Easter.

These lights were perfect for total coverage on an average-size bedroom ceiling. I used tiny command hooks to install, and it took less than an hour from start to finish. I like the remote and dimming features, however it doesn’t work correctly all of the time. I only gave 4 stars because the power pack that you have to use in order to make the lights work causes a large orange flash when plugging into the outlet- which has never happened before with that specific outlet.. not sure what the cause of that is, but it was alarming. I don’t feel comfortable keeping it plugged in when I leave home.

I believe this is my 3rd string if Er Chen lights, and I won’t buy any other brand. These things are bright, pretty, and they last! They are super easy to hang, very light weight, and they don’t get hot at all. I have a string in my daughters bedroom, two strings of the solar version outside my house, and I just got this one to keep as a travel set for my daughter for whenever we sleep in a hotel or cabin, since she won’t sleep without them. Absolutely love these lights.

I have owned 3 sets of these lights (66ft blue and green, the the 166ft green). The lights aren't by any means the hieghest quality but they definitely do the job. I have moved 7 times since my purchase and have only had one set of lights break. So long as you take care with the fragile copper wire, then they'll stay working.The major irritation I find with the lights, is that the frequency the remote uses is INCREDIBLY COMMON! nearly every remote in the house effects the lights. I have to take their location into consideration even when setting up my tv because changing channels turns the lights on and off.

****Update - I’ve dropped my review from 5 stars to 1 star as I purchased a second set and installed them and they looked great for 1 night and then the second night only half the set worked. When I checked closer I could see a spot where it appears the wires have been spliced/soldered. None of the lights work past this point. I’m quite disappointed now because I’ve spent almost 2 hours putting them up.I wanted "fairy" lights to install in the back yard to be intertwined in a vine growing on the side of my garage. I purchased these because I thought the price was very good for the size of strand offered. They are exactly what I wanted - the wire is extremely thin and hardly visible one installed in the vine. Also they are extremely light weight as regular "christmas" lights would have been way too heavy for the vine. I will say the cable feels extremely fragile but this is to be expected with such a fine/thin cable. They look great in the evening and I think I'll be purchase more in the near future to do the front of my garage and and the front hedge. Thanks for a great product!

Bought the 1st set to hang in our covered porch. Half way through hanging we plugged them in to check the progress. Only half the line lit up and stopped at where they had been soldered. We thought maybe they were defective set and sent them back and reordered.We got the next set. Checked them before hanging, everything worked great. Hung them, and again - half the line worked and didn't past the soldering.Sending back and will not be reordering.

These would have a higher rating if the remote control worked. I really like the clean and simply look of the thin wire and fairy lights. However, after being on for a couple hours and having no problems, the remote worked the following morning to turn them on and has not worked since. *side note, the remote has far too many buttons, which could easily be eliminated by using a +/_ feature, but this has no effect on my rating.If I can find the time to take them down, I will send them back for a refund.

I decided to replace my bulky LED christmas lights with these fairy string lights.They are so compact, and really easy to decorate with, as the wire bends effortlessly.The intensity range is great considering how small the lights are. The remote control works well.The one issue I have, is that the brightness of the lights are not consistent. The lights closer to the plug are brighter than the lights at the end of the string.See my photo. I started decorating from the bottom of the tree and worked upwards. It's clear that the lights at the bottom of the tree are definitely brighter than the ones near the top. It's even more evident if you're actually standing in front of the tree. It's not a deal-breaker, but definitely annoying. If you're picky, you won't like it.

Maybe we got a bad string, but these lasted all of one day before half the string failed.The strings are lengthened by machined joints. They appear to be tight and waterproof, but obviously they were flawed on the string we purchased. When working the lights are pretty but not very bright. Disappointed because it is a lengthy process to unspool these lights before you can hang them and that takes some doing. Wont be purchasing fairy lights in the future. Returned them for a full refund.
