Trask Men's Gallatin 2.0

Five months in with wearing these shoes about 30 percent of the time and the Vibram soles are surprisingly worn and one heel counter is starting to curl. The leather is great and looks great but it seems that the other components are no different than what is found in shoes costing a fraction of Trask

Very nice casual shoe with jeans. Seems to be slightly short in length. I ordered a half size up and it fits perfectly. I have not found this to be the case with other Trask shoes, only this model.

These shoes are incredible in every way. For a heavy duty shoe, they are unbelievably comfortable. The footbed is perfect. Arch support, cushioning, shock absorption, the works! Every step you take in these feels like walking on a firm bed of air. Also, they look way better in person compared to the photos on here. Vibram outsole, Goodyear welted so they can be resoled when needed. Incredible quality for the price. Trask is my new favorite brand.

Very solid shoe. Fabulous quality. Better than ever now that they come with a Vibram sole. I bought my first pair of H.S. Trask Gallatin oxfords 25 years ago, and have had them resoled twice back when you could send them back to the manufacturer for reconditioning. I honestly don't know if they are still made from Bison hide but I don't care.

Bought these for a trip and I'm lucky it wasn't longer because they tore my heals apart. I don't know why, but they seem to have a back lip that comes in too much. I have many good-quality shoes (Allen Edmonds, etc.) and looked at them side-by-side with these, and none has this problem. I will try to put some cushions in the back after by heals heal, but I may have to return these. Otherwise, are fine. I would just expect more for the price.

Better than a pair I bought several years ago.
