These are great quality art pads. I think they would be suitable for many types of art medium, but I purchased these to make timeline books. They are exactly what I was looking for, with pages thick enough to glue the timeline figures on. I'm super excited to get them started. It was a great purchase, and much more affordable than buying pre-made timeline books!

I usually get strathmore, but they didn’t have the spiral bound size I wanted. Has a great thickness for water painting and inking. Can ink one side and not see it on the other. Really like the quality of the paper, cardboard backing, and spiral. The difference from this and others is the number of pages.

My husband is an artist and loves many of Artesia's products. He goes through a lot of sketch pads and these are well made and never fall apart.

I want to start out by saying these are my favorite sketch pads. They're perfect for me! Now, I received a sketch pad that was a little banged up in the corner, that's a no Bueno for me because I make art. So I contacted Arteza directly and I asked if they could replace it. After a long search for 'affordable' but nice drawing/sketch pads for gifts for children, I was glad to find this 2-pack (80 lb, 80 sheets, top spiral bound) on sale for $11.68. Thank you! This enabled me to get a higher quality paper than similarly sale-priced offerings.80 pages is plenty! The 100-sheet pads seemed a little too much, too bulky. The 80lb paper surely takes up more space than the 68 or 73 lb paper of competitors I looked at, but I still like the 80-page format. Not too few sheets (like the 30- or 50-sheet pads). And not too many. Seems like a 100-page sketch book could get pretty beat up by the time you finish using it.Anyway, I'm sorry I was sent a 2-pack that was kind of beat up in a couple corners. Cover plastic was torn, and the heavy backing cardboard was damaged in that corner. This reduces my ability to use it as a gift. I'm wondering whether to exchange it.

I love these sketch pads. I believe they are giftable to any person that loves to draw, can't go wrong. The picture I uploaded is one of my first drawings. It's been years since I last sat down to draw anything and these sketch pads to me are wonderful.

I am a newbie with drawing. I bought this sketchbook for a class I'm taking and so far I am really enjoying using it!
