I don't doubt that it'll fall apart as soon as she sets her mind to it, but so far my dog is happy to carry this guy around and squeak the squeaker. This won't be the most durable, but it's a nice dog toy. I've certainly gotten worse!

There is no way Mr. Monkey hasn't been a hit. I have only one so far (amazingly) since November, and it remains intact somehow and yet well liked. It is that toy they will play with, share, watch over, sleep with, but choose not even to try to destroy. How can that be? So he isn't as active as others, but he is still appreciated. I think if dogs did get too aggressive with him he might not last very long (at least his extremities), though they may not be too difficult to reattach. It does crinkle a little, but not so much that I notice it unless I'm thinking about it. I think the draw is more the whole look of him, but that is just my take! I do my best not to play too much tug-o-war when they bring him to me. I swear I can hear the seam at the arms breaking open just a little when they've tried!

I'm not convinced this is a durable toy at all. For any sort of dog that loves ripping things apart.With that said, I've decided it's likely naive to think there's a indestructible plush/soft dog toy out there.Rather, the toy is to be supervised, with gentle reminders that tearing it apart is not acceptableI let him bite down on it to make it squeak, also he loves shaking it and making that crinkle noise.But as soon as he puts his paws on it and starts to make a move to tear it apart(which I'm very confident he could, which would be customer error not poor product). I very gently remove his paw, and say "no don't do that" I think I can get him to value it( so far I use very gentle tones, no need to get angry or yell.. at least in my case,gentle conditioning)I think this this valuable training method is overlooked by many dog owners.

My dog loves this toy and the extra crinkle material is a big plus. Unfortunately the arms and legs are not stitched on that well and he was able to rip them off not long after receiving it.

My pup loves her monkey. I wish the body fabric was a bit more resilient than it is. I’ve replaced this toy a few times and between then, I’ve taken a needle and thread to it to repair the tears from her vigorous shaking. I’ll most likely buy it again only because my pup has such fun playing with this monkey. I just wish it was tougher.

Our dog loves this adorable monkey toy. It has a fun squeaker inside and Hazel thinks it is so exciting. We have had it for around 2 months and our (gentle mouthed) dog hasn't destroyed it yet, so for us it is pretty durable. We got XL and it works perfectly for our standard poodle. XL is not that big.

My dog got this on a Wednesday and played with it. He just had it in his mouth and tossed it around and it started to separate on the back. It looked like someone had cut it. It lasted about a day. He has other crinkly toys bought at a store, not a dog store, that have held up so that was why I bought this one. Will go to store and get home more from there. Not happy at all, with this toy. Won’t buy anymore from this place. Another day more tears from just playing with it,

Purchased this for our 65lb German Shorthair Pointer for Christmas 2020. He plays with it and drags it around the house, and it hasnt shown any wear. Usually he tears apart large and small stuffed items without too much effort, but this one has stayed intact, so it earns 5 stars for now. One of his favorites.

My lab loves this toy very much- TOO much! This poor guy survived a whole month before a tug session went too hard.... We've removed his stuffing so he can still be played with until he's completely shredded, but I know that we would absolutely adore a tougher version of Spencer!

The dogs love these monkeys.They have long crinkly legs an arms and a medium sized squeaker in their tummy.They just love running around the house with them and we throw them up in the air for catch.You get the one on the right, without the Cape (the Cape is a special Halloween version).They have both been used for about 10 months in those pictures so holding up pretty well.Both squeakers still working.Pls give a helpful vote click below if reading this has been useful. Half day and look at it, my dog is an English Bulldog 9 months old, and doesn't even bit very strong, I get supermarkets toys and she plays for ages and doesn't get ripped apart, I don't recommend this toy at all

I get a real joy out of watching my little girl toss around, squeak and sleep with her monkey. Beajou has a full box with a huge array of different toys, however, Mr. Monkey is her absolute favourite. I have the most adorable pix of her sleeping with Mr. Monkey and as soon as she wakes up he's in her mouth!!Great quality, strong construction and has lasted quite a long time even after aggressive play every day for months.I have only had to sew one spot to ensure the stuffing does not come out. To be fair, this is the spot my girl treats so ravagely as she continually wants to chomp at the squeak insert.

My two year old Doberman loves this toy. Unfortunately it lasted about 2 1/2 - 3 weeks, before the stitches let out. I’m going to sew it back together, but I hoped it would’ve lasted longer. My dog doesn’t tend to rip toys apart. But he throws & jerks them around.
