Solved my problem!
It worked beautifully. Besides the 90 deg I needed, I also needed to convert a 1-1/2 to a 1-1/4 and by adding am appropriate gasket it solved my problem.

No reducing washer
I ordered 2 and neither of them have the reducing washer. I was not able to use them right away and now I'm out of the return window so I'm stuck with 2 useless elbows. Do not order if you need a reducing washer.

No reducing washer.
The elbow is perfectly fine as a 1 1/2 inch part but it did not include a reducing washer as the description clearly states. A replacement part also did not include the reducing washer, so the product description must be inaccurate in this significant respect.
