Bought this to get power into a tank bag. Works as described and easy to install. Now I have more power than I will ever need

It seems like it will be ok, However After reading the package, the USB is 5v and only 0.05A so it will charge very slow from what I have read. We will see when it is hooked up.Be sure when you plug the BMW style plug into it that you have it straight as the tabs inside female might bend over and not work.Also they say the power wire is 3ft long, Well if you stretch it our and unhook the cap and stretch it out then yes it is 36" but the wire is only 32". I will put a connection in the fairing so that way it doesn't have to go all the way to battery tender connection, because it will not reach.Mounting on the bag was pretty simple and straight forward.DO NOT buy the jump start kit and try to plug the long cable into it with BMW type plug as it is a different size plug and will bend the tabs inside the female part of plug. You can however use the SAE plug on the kit to plug in power wire if it will reach. EKLIPES EK1-115 Black Universal Bike-2-Bike Jump Start Kit notice in pictures the difference in the BMW style plugs. One is designed for huge amps to jump start the other is not.

At first it seemed to be a good product good product out of the box unfortunately when plug all in didn't seem to work and it smelled like burning plastic .. not happy with it...
