Very nice, compact voltage meter. Once it's set up it's super easy to operate, but, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!!!! They will show you how to set up the gauge initially for what you want to see, how much power and type of battery you're looking at. After that's done, it's one button. Display is bright and sensor is accurate, at least as near as I could tell with a multimeter.

i like this unit from a functional stand point. it displays voltage, or capacity, and can be shut off completely with the single button on the front. i purchased it for a 48 volt golf cart and it appears to come setup correctly for that machine. the instructions explain how to program it for any voltage from 12 to 70 however i cannot make any of that work, it will not allow any setting changes. also it is rectangular and comes made for a press fit into a rectangular hole. that makes it very difficult to flush mount. if you wanted to just stick it on with double sided tape, you easily could, but to me that would be a temporary install.

I purchased this for an electric scooter because the throttle/display I retrofitted was for a 48v & my setup is 36v. It is very bright, easy enough to setup & mount. Only issue is the way to setup the number of batteries goes by preset increments of two I believe. I have an odd number of batteries & while the voltage reading is accurate, the percentage is off because of the battery assignment. It's ok for me, but the kids only know the percentage, so they don't know when the scooter is low. Otherwise it works fine, I am happy enough with it.

This little battery meter reader works!!! You have to install directly to the battery, or no relay or step up converter in between to accurate read the voltage and percentage. I have experimented, and it proves it is working. I tried the programming from the back of the reset button, but nothing responding. I guess this reader automatically reads 12V SLA battery. I tried to read my car's USB charger, and it accurately shows 5.2v with 0 percentage. Of course, it cannot read through it, because an USB port is stepping down to 5.2v. The only problem is that the ad shows 2 meter readers, but the description indicates only one. I received only one reader, but my fault I didn't read the bottom description.

Came with instructions, and although they are in English, they are definitely written by someone that does not speak English as their first language. Even still, the programming went according to the instructions. The install was straightforward. Wiring it up is NOT in the instructions but that wasn’t hard. Just follow the charge leads and wires negative to negative and positive to positive. (See my pics). Once wiring was ran, I had the meter hooked up, programmed, and installed in 30 minutes. I’ll revisit this review after about 6 months of use for any updates to performance/reliability.

This did not work and does not perform what it says. I purchased for a Jon boat battery for my son. I am disappointed in Amazon as they are increasingly allowing product misrepresentation and leaving the consumer to deal with the consequences. The hassle of sending it back is barely worth it, which I believe this seller is aware of.

Got my unit flush mounted on my 48v golf cart body. Very easy to read but instructions are a little vague. Sketch of unit is different but seller responded with better instructions. Holding the set button on the back of the unit as power plug was inserted allowed me to enter setup and select P for lead acid and 4 for 48v, even though I have 6 8v batteries, the unit is for 12v thus 4x12 for a 48v cart. Very happy now and I changed my rating to 5 stars!
