Works, but issues.
The insert that holds the wick does not fit snugly which I found to be a possible hazard. I had to wrap a rubber gasket around it so it didn't fit so loosely. The cap does not snap on even remotely. It just sits atop the lamp and I assume presses down on the wick. Time will tell if the wick lasts. Using 91% ethyl alcohol seems to work well with decent size flame, approx. 1 inch high. I like that it comes with extra wicks and funnels. Why it comes with three funnels I don't know, maybe for varying fuels.

this burner is good for home lab work and is at a pretty good price.
the only thing not great is the wick holding cap doesn't get an airtight seal. putting rubber bands around the sides of the cap can help it seal tight.

Cheap plastic cap.
Ill fitting cheap plastic cap, I can't imagine putting out a flame coming out of a hot ceramic nozzle with a cheap plastic cap.
