Great product, good 'pre-owned' value.
I was sceptical about buying one of these 'pre-owned' but I needn't have been. I bought it to replace one of two identical units I had but were no longer functional (despite replacing the batteries...) This was taken to the USA for a recent holiday and worked perfectly despite it having an allegedly smaller mapping coverage of the US than might be required.I was keen to replace 'like for like' as this is the only SatNav that I am aware of that has a remote control facility to enter trip details. This precludes the need to reach across the dashboard and manually 'punch in' the details. Much easier. All in all. Great item, good price, very pleased...

In its day it was good and I still use mine - but I know ...
It's 2018 now. TT has discontinued web based updates and product support.Last map was issued about ten years ago so hugely out of date now.The actual gps positions need updating. They are far enough out to make navigating big motorway road junction down right dangerous - if it is even on the map of course. In its day it was good and I still use mine - but I know its problems!Don't purchase unless you need one for a museum.Sorry TomTom but I am miffed at having my product dumped without support.

Good product but doesn't like extreme tempertures
My wife bought me a GO910 in June 2007 when we were going to the USA for a holiday. If worked wonderfully until I left it in the window whilst we stopped in a nature reserve (not good security I know). The weather was really hot and the sun was on the car when we got back, for the rest of the holiday the device was a real problem and we end up buying a local map. I had to reset the hard drive when we got back to the UK. Over the last two winters the device really plays up when the temperature has dropped to freezing and the Go910 has been in the glove box; the screen jumps around quite badly until it has warmed up.I know you'll all say I should treat it with a bit more respect ... but I'm not sure this device would be any good in Finland or in a car that is not air conditioned ... I probably wouldn't buy one again.

Four Stars
A good compact unit that is more than ideal as a back up.

never any problems in Europe
I've also bought this tomtom in 2007 and driven to different countries in Europe such as UK, D, E, I, F and CH. It has shown me the way to the next shopping center in Barcelona, brought me to the hotel in Milano and found the way through Switzerland. If it ever gets blocked you just need a needle to reset it. Never expericenced any problems except my dog did bite the cable through lol. Great device.
