I'm not fond of the type of leather cleaner that insists on putting it's own "personality" on your fine leathers. If I want a glossy look, or that "new car smell" on my leather seats, frankly, there are better ways. In a nutshell, this is why I'm such a fan of this particular product: all you get is your leather with whatever surface it was born with - but wonderfully clean, and with a bit of a protective layer on top to ward off the next nasty spill or stain. I have a Porsche with the full leather interior in two-tone beige and black. As you might imagine, the beige is a challenge to keep in pristine condition - one passenger with a brand new pair of jeans is all it takes. Porsche uses a fairly plain and flat leather that's very rich but not at all glossy. Meguir's product gets an amazing amount of dirt out of the leather - white applicators come away looking gray, even in my almost new vehicle - but when it dries, the leather ends up with exactly the same texture and appearance as new. My car's new enough to still have the authentic "new car smell", and Meguir's doesn't change that at all. So far, I've used this product on several cars and even an expensive Tumi leather backpack, and in every case, it performed above my expectations. Wonderful product - just can't say enough good about it.

This product works great on my leather seats. It makes my used car smell like new, and it gives the leather a fresh look. I even used it on my couches a few weeks ago before guests arrived. Our dog has made a mess of our leather couches and this product spruced them up nicely. It didn't cover up everything the dog did to the couch, but it was a definite improvement. The color (black) looked better & scratches seemed less pronounced. The effects don't last more than 5-7 days, but it's so addicting & quick to apply that I don't mind. One area of my leather is wrinkled due to constant wear and this product does not fix that, but had the previous owner been using this product, I bet the wrinkles wouldn't be there. My leather was deprived of moisture and it looks much better when it gets what it needs. Great product. I will continue to buy it.

I finally got around to using this product on my Tesla S that had started to show the typical drivers left leg area wrinkles and wear. I have to admit to being amazed at the transformation of that area. Of course the wrinkles are still there, but it is very much improved and looks great. But more important to me, the product leaves absolutely no detectable residue on the leather or the surrounding stitching - all excess wiped off immediately. And there is none of that just-treated look reminiscent of an older popular automotive interior treatment that everyone has used at some point (you know the one). Now that I've discovered this product I plan to treat the seats every few months.

Great product for the price. You need to leave it on the seats for a few minutes before wiping it off. It works better on high end leather than cheaper leather. Smells great and it's not greasy. I've been using it on my car for 3 years and the seats look new and feel very soft.

Very good and safest way to clean your car's leather seats. The gel is soft and doesn't smell strong or bad. Use a glean towel and take a small portion of the cleaner. Rub the area that you want to clean. Within the site of your eyes the stains will go away. You do not need to rinse the soap off. Once you have wiped it all off then use the Meguiar's Gold Class leather Conditioner to give the leather a fresh look. The two products combined will not only clean, but it will give your seats a shiny look without making it look greasy. I have also used these two products on my leather seats for our dining table. It cleaned all the food stains and made it look newer.

I use it on the interior of my car. Cleans leather well, smell is mild, no residue. My only complaint is the leaky pump, bottle can't be turned on it's side. (Nothing is broken, there's just too much space in the lid for the pump, making me think other bottles might have the same problem.)

I ordered this product based on previous experience. It is easy to apply to cloth or applicator pad. Product has been unavailable in stores for about the last two years. With that said…the packaging and shipping method of this vendor is way bell unsatisfactory….they mail liquids as open stock with no protection from damage.. ordered two bottles mainly for the pump dispensers during future use. During arrival one of the bottles totally came open…:very poor shipping….at minimum the bottles should be either bagged or at least shrink wrapped. Again great product to use and Amazon is sending new bottle but vendor if your listening…shrink wrap bottle and place in Ziplock bag to prevent liquid spills during shipment.

Although it says it's a cleaner, it's also a conditioner. Goes on very easily and leaves no white reside on anything. Just brings out the shine without leaving an oily residue or being slippery. Used it on my Harley Seat and Bags. Water just beads up and rolls off. I would imagine it will work great on chaps, jackets, vests, purses, belts, boots and any other leather items on your car or bike. Very pleased with product, as I am with all my other Mequiars products
