Amazing price, individually, the parts would have cost much more. Parts are easy to install. Watched videos on the dryer repair and found it simple to trouble shoot and replace parts. Already replaced a faulty thermostat and got the machine working again. Discovered a dryer vent clogged with lint which caused the problem in the first place. These are all the electrical parts that would wear out and am keeping them as spares.

Thermal fuse went out on my old Whirlpool dryer. Went to Partsdirect and found the number for the part I needed, found the part number on Amazon. This is an old dryer and the second time the thermal fuse has gone out in it's lifetime (15+ years). I decided to buy the whole set of parts so that the next time something fails, I already have the parts in hand. With a family, the laundry really piles up, even if the dryer is only out of commission for three days.Installation was easy after watching some videos. Parts seem like they are of matching quality with the existing parts in the dryer. Heating element wires appear to be same thickness as existing element.Update - Summer 2022 - Had to replace the heating element in the dryer. I had a little bit of trouble with the one in this kit. It fit, but the fuse or sensor that goes in the element didn't fit back in quite right. I had to use some pliers and bend the metal on the heating element housing to get the sensor/fuse to fit correctly. Otherwise, the heating element works just fine and no issues after several weeks.

The price for this kit , considering how much you receive it worth it . I got it quickly and everything came nicely labeled . This made it easy for me to install . One of the pieces broke into two pieces pretty quickly but didn’t end up needing it anyway . If you’re looking to change your heating element- check out YouTube , they have helpful videos

Everything you need to keep a Whirlpool dryer operating like normal. If you purchase the parts individually, you will easily spend three times the price of this kit. I was an appliance repair tech and this kit would easily be five times more for a customer. Take advantage of this kit and get one or two. Just the heating element alone is more than this kit if you purchase it locally. Even the Thermal operating fuse is more than this kit. I can order a heating element restring kit for less, but why bother with having to fuss with that?

Our old dryer stopped heating up. We assumed it was this part and ordered it. Itworked! It seemed to run really hot though. After a year it stopped working again. We ordered the same parts again only changed everything and it works perfectly and runs not nearly as hot. You can't beat the price and it takes very little time to install.

The element failed nearly 3 years to the day it was installed. While the replacement is one pensive, I expect longer life.I suspect our issue may be due to the vent connection which takes several tight turns leaving the dryer.---------My dryer was not generating heat. Watched a few videos and took a gamble on this. 2+ years later the dryers still going strong. A repairman would have charged me $200 just to look at it.
