12 AmiSolid Basic Fold-Over Stretch Midi Short Skirt - Made in USA

I love these skirts! I have purchased a number of them in various colors, and they have become a major anchor to my wardrobe. They're casual enough that I can run weekend errands in them, stylish enough to wear when I'm at work, comfortable enough for me to wear when traveling by air, and compact enough to pack in either my carry-on or checked luggage. I also appreciate the foldover waist, as I'm one of these people whose stomach area expands and shrinks based on how recently I've had a meal, making many pants or skirts that have a zipper closure difficult to wear: they can go from being a little too loose to uncomfortably tight within the same day. Not a problem with these skirts! And it's fun to wear on top of that - has a nice weight and movement as I walk. Size-wise, I'm 5'5" and around 105 and find the medium to be my best choice for fit. I've attached a photo of me wearing the skirt - that white spot is not on the skirt, rather it seems to have been a "blip" on the photo.

I love my maxi skirts because of the overall comfort, flattery of my curves, and ability to dress up or down. As a result of being currently 15 weeks pregnant, comfort is high on my new wardrobe priority list, so I got very excited when I saw this particular skirt for several reasons. (For reference purposes, I ordered a Large.)1. The length....is perfect for warmer days when I want to wear something other than shorts but don't want to potentially overheat in a longer skirt. I'm about 4'10 to 5'1 in height, and even with my growing belly, it still hits my knees.2. The color of the actual skirt is almost identical to the picture. For all the nitpickers out there, there may be some difference in color, depending on your screen color and your vision. I, however, love the color because it's the soft, pastel pink that I wanted.3. The material is very light, exactly how a maxi skirt should be. I wear slips under all my maxi skirts, simply because a lighter material usually means a see-through material. So don't complain about having to wear a slip under a maxi skirt.4. The stretch is very good for a maxi skirt. I haven't washed it, so I can't attest to the post-wash wear.There is only one obvious con to the skirt, though. The size is most definitely not true to fit. I read several reviews that encouraged to order a size up. I would honestly order two sizes up if not pregnant and three sizes up if you're expecting. When I first opened up the package, I thought the seller had sent me a small. It fits well now, but I won't be able to wear it later in the pregnancy. However, I will be able to wear it after the pregnancy.I will be most definitely be ordering a couple more to wear later in my pregnancy. Overall, this is a very good skirt for the price, and I recommend it for any lady wanting a cute but shorter skirt for the summer.

I wear it while pregnant when it is really hot outside for pants. It runs very small, but thanks to the reviews, I was able to figure it out. This is the only xl item I ever wore and it fits well. I normally wear M, but being 22 weeks pregnant, maybe more like a large. So if you are not expecting, I would say, order 1 size up from what you wear, and if you are expecting, order 2 sizes up.Aside from sizing, I really like the way this skirt looks and feels and it is easy to pair with various tops, can go as either everyday home skirt or office skirt easily. While being light weight it is not see through (mine is grey), a release in a hot summer weather and for pregnancy such a gem! I might order one more.

This runs small and is made from VERY thin material. It does NOT cover my knees when the waistband is folded over, and I'm average height at 5'5", but I cannot wear it unfolded as it's far too tight at the waist. In the navy color it's really a darker blue but not one that I would call navy, it does not appear to be see through, and a bonus the fullness seems to hide panty lines, despite how thin the fabric is. I typically wear a 10/12 in pants and the Large in this fits snugly, I may try an XL if it might fit allowing the waist to be unfolded.

This is the worst clothing purchase I have ever made from Amazon. I had bought this skirt several years ago and it was true to size. This time I ordered a Large and the waist measured 22 inches with no stretch. It was a joke.

I ordered this skirt in charcoal gray at about 6-7 months pregnant, looking for something comfortable to wear while my belly grows, but that could also be worn after baby comes and after the weight is lost.When this skirt arrived I was positive they had sent me the wrong size, because while I wear a large/xl at this point in my life, the skirt definitely looked like it was no more than a size small. I tried it on for kicks though, and was shocked that it fit! The stretch of this material is insane and it fit well and was comfortable to wear. The length was just right too, and hits right at the knee which is what I wanted.I do notice that if the material stretches too much, it allows for some transparency, but that's to be expected.The quality of this skirt is surprisingly good and I'm very pleased with it. I plan to purchase more.

This is very nice, and I was very happy with the fit and feel of the fabric. I am pregnant an was looking for a good stretchy skirt to wear and I noticed that when you don't fold over the top this looks like a lot of pregnancy skirts. Seeing another buyer my height (and from look in picture around my size) was happy with a medium wile pregnant I order the same size. I was nervous when it came because the waist looked so small when I pulled it out of the package, but it stretched very nicely and feels very comfortable, as well as looking great! I will probably order another color in large for my third trimester. Will have to see how much this one continues to stretch, but what's great about it is I think it's one of the few things I bought to wear wile pregnant that I can wear again once I lose baby weight!
